Then I saw an add on tv and I started taking these sadly 3 days before I had a death in the family, while my husband was stll in Iraq, and I really believe they helped keep me from falling off the edge. I stoped being mad at everything and stopped "freaking out" over things I could not change. After 3 weeks of use I found I dont think all the time about what could go wrong in my life (which I did alot) I'll take them for the rest of my life! I take two tablets daily (three when I know I am facing a stressful day). I take them in the morning just before I eat and I find I am able to stay in control of my mood all day. Nature Made brand is the best. I have tried cheaper store brands and they cause stomach problems. SAM-e is not for everyone. My husband tried taking it and he felt highly irritable/manic. Pros

Best Uses Comments about Nature Made SAM-e Complete, 400mg, Tablets, 36 ea: I have suffered from moderate to major clinical depression for over 20 years - sleeping just about any time I wasn't working, hardly ever leaving the house, unable to maintain healthy relationships, no enjoyment of life etc. I tried Wellbutrin for about 2 weeks several years ago, it made me feed "numb", so I stopped. I have to admit, I didn't seek help because I didn't want to be a "patient". I know....ridiculous. I saw this supplement described in an old mental health video on depression and figured what have I got to lose. I noticed an elevation in mood in less than one week after taking 400mg twice daily. My interest in intimacy w/ my husband is back, I'm exercising, up and about everyday, and enjoying life again. I would highly recommend this to anyone experiencing depression prior to seeking prescription meds as SAM-E is found alreay in the body. Pros

Comments about Nature Made SAM-e Complete, 400mg, Tablets, 36 ea: I have been having it for the last 4 days and have already starting getting excellent results.I have been on cymbalta ( SSRI antidepressant) for quite some time and wanted to replace it with a more natural solution that didn't have any side effects and this drug did exactly that.I started taking it the same day I stopped taking cymbalta and didn't have any complications or interactions.Though it seems like a very mild drug but it has very strong positive impact on the body.The best part about having this drug is that it has no side effects which are generally a part of the parcel that comes with Rx drugs.Said all that I will strongly recommend this OTC antidepressant :) Pros

I have been taking Milk Thistle for over 20 years and did not see any substanial drop.Sam-e also helps for Mood support. Pros
