Love the time release, beats taking several throughout the day. Seem more effective then other brands that are capsules. Great for those that can't keep track of multiple pills at different times of day.

When I first used this product I felt almost an immediate sense of relief. My anxiety and depression that was near panic attack level was greatly reduced. It definitely "takes the edge off" of life. I do not take 2 pills together like it says to because when I did my heart would race, I felt a bit "numb" inside, and I found it wore off at night. Instead I take 1 in the morning and 1 in the late afternoon and this keeps my mood even. I do not have any side effects like photosensitivity that is listed as a side effect despite the fact I'm fair skinned. I find that if I start feeling good and stop taking the supplement, I will eventually slip back into the same mood I was in before I started taking it, so I know it works. I recommend this supplement to anyone who is thinking about going on anti-depressants. It has the same effect without all of the side effects like addiction of prescription drugs. It is also cheap and readily available.

I was feeling down in the dumps and pretty hopeless. I would always snap at my family and I was just generally in a bad mood. Some websites say it takes a few weeks like 4 to 6 weeks to kick in, but if that's the case then i'm not feeling it's full effects. If i'm not feeling the full effects then I can't wait till it fully kicks in. After about a week of taking it I found myself calmer and more relaxed than usual. Small things no longer bug me. I find that my patience has been increased ten fold and I feel WAY more optimistic. I love this stuff and will be buying again. And again, if i'm not feeling the full effects yet I can't wait till it kicks in fully. :)

I have been taking St. John's Wort since 1997. It is the best for moderating one's temperment. I took a hiatus for 2-3 months in 2010 just to see if I really would notice the difference. Sure enough, I felt edgy and not as easy-going as I like to be. I try to order 5-6 bottles at a time when they are on sale and find the value is great. By the way, I only take one pill a day...not the recommended two. Life is good.
