My m.d. suggested I take at least 1000 units of D3 because my blood level of the vitamin is very low. This product is easy to take (I take it with greek yogurt which is high in calcium, which works well with D3).

[I've only been taking this a few weeks and won't be tested for my next Vit. D Level until October.]

I take one tablet at every meal to ensure I'm getting the vitamin through out the day. Shop around at your big box stores for lower prices.

Along with calcium, it is recommend to take at least 1,000 i.u. Vit D daily to help older bones, especially if you have osteoporosis.
