This vitamin works! I have thyroid problems which causes my hair to fall out. I've been taking these for 14 months and within the last 4 months have noticed new hair growing. You have to take these for several months for it to absorb into your system, but it is worth it. Three pills a day, every day with or shortly after meals is the best way to take this vitamin.

I have been using this product now for about 3weeks. I have seen a big change in my nails they are much stronger and the color at the tip of my nails are white. I can see a little difference in my hair line, but I am hoping to see more soon. My skin is looking good also the color of my skin is lighter. The only thing that I dislike about the product is that I get diarreha real bad I am hoping that will change soon, but if not I will just take two instead of three.

There are a few with negative results; however, after just two weeks I see a HUGE DIFFERENCE. I am completely done with Acrylics! Two of my nails were completely ripped off of the nail bed while a manicurist was trying to remove them! Awfully painful! NTM, the embarrassment of Bald fingers. I was desperate to get my nails back, and into shape.

Now, my brittle nails have become thicker and have grown, and the two fingers have the nail coming back in... almost to the tip! :-) I originally could not grow nails to begin with, that's why I kept acrylics; never again! I also have noticed my hair is thicker, and my eyelashes are longer and fuller. I did get a couple of cystic pimples, that were deep into my skin; but it is subsiding, i can see a huge difference in my nails and they still have a long way to go.

I'M A TEENAGER AND I WANTED LONGER HAIR FASTER SO I DECIDED TO TRY THIS OUT, AT FIRST WHEN I READ THE BOTTLE, IT SAYS TO TAKE 3 PILLS A DAY BUT I ONLY TOOK 2 A DAY CAUSE IT WAS MY FIRST TIME TRYING SOMETHING LIKE THIS, JUST TWO DAYS AFTER I TOOK THEM MY FACE STARTED TO BREAKOUT A LITTLE. AS A TEENAGER AN OCCASIONAL FACE BREAKOUT IS USUALLY NORMAL, WHEN I DIDN'T NOTICE ANYTHING HAPPENING TO MY HAIR I DECIDED TO TAKE THE RECOMENDED 3 PILLS A DAY, ONE DAY. Well, I have been taking this product for only 2 and a half weeks. So far I have not seen any changes to my hair. Maybe its just because my hair is natural, but it still breaks off and I don't see much growth. My skin looks not so clear at all, but I can say that my nails have gotten stronger. Since I have been taking these pills for only two weeks I'll wait two more month to give a better review.

I love this product. I used to take Vitamins B-complex with B-12 and noticed that my hair was growing stronger. After doing some research on you tube, I decided to buy Biotin 5000 mcg. I bought Nature's Bounty hair, skin and nails at [@]. I love it. I had a bad headache the first day because I took 3.....DRINK PLENTY OF WATER IF YOUR SKIN START TO BREAK OUT or DECREASE THE DOSAGE IF YOU HAVE HEADACHES, OTHER THAN THAT YOU SHOULD BE FINE. Like vitamin B-12, Biotin is water soluble, Your body will flush it out if you take too much. You can either take less or drink 32 oz. of water a day when taking it.

I waited at least six months of taking this product to write a concise review.

In short: This product does work. I can't say it made my hair grow "thicker" but it did make my hair grow, and fast. It also made my eyelashes grow longer (which my husband noticed), and made my nails grow fast, too. (I do love the appearance of my nails; they're stronger, and I definitely don't need a french manicure as the tips of my nails are white and long!) I haven't noticed too much of a difference regarding my skin, though, besides an overall healthy glow.

As for cons, the vitamins taste terrible and don't smell good, either. I did experience side effects; at first, I was taking the product three (3) times daily, which gave me terrible headaches. I decreased dosage to two (2) vitamins a day, and the headaches subsided. I also take the vitamins with at least juice, and sometimes with a snack.

I do recommend this product. I can attest that it did make my hair and nails grow. I'm still taking the product daily and will keep taking it.

I have been taking one of these a day for three weeks and have noticed a huge difference in my nails. I am going to start taking the recommended dose (3x a day) this week.
My nails are much stronger! I have not been taking them long enough to see a difference in my hair but my coworker thinks it's growing faster then normal (b/c I highlight my hair she claims she can see regrowth faster) which I really was not paying attention to. I started on these for nail strength since I work with horses, I usually have thin brittle splitting nails. No more!
I've been recommending these to friends.

I have been taking these tablets since November 2010. I am pleased to report a significant difference in nail length and the speed at which my hair grows.
My nails are prone to breakage and after a summer of heavy gardening in which my hands and nails were exposed constantly to dirt and water, I am also happy to note that they have recovered nicely from re-occurring damage to the nail bed.
I cannot attest to an improvement in skin, although with an updated skin care regime, I have noticed that my skin is smoother, clearer and less oily. However, I am not fully attributing my skin texture's improvements to the tablet.
My hair has grown much quicker than in past years and I do believe the pill has helped. I also want to note that I take one pill daily before bed.
It is also worth noting that results often take more than a month to take effect and that many individuals taking these supplements stop taking them even before they have a chance to change anything. Patience is key. I would also recommend taking the prescribed dose if you want to see results as soon as possible.
For the price and benefits to my body and health, I will continue taking this supplement.
I am also convinced that I survived cold and flu season due to many of the additional ingredients in this tablet. Many of which are really good to take on a daily basis!
