I noticed my hair was thinning and asked my doctor what I could do about it. She recommended I take a Biotin vitamin supplement. At the same time I started looking for a new shampoo and conditioner. Having Biotin in the shampoo and conditioner was why I decided to try it. Both my daughter and I are using it and we love it.

I've tried lots of conditioners, and bought this after a too-short haircut to try to make it grow faster. Silly, I know, but at the very least I thought the biotin would strengthen my hair and make it more healthy. I don't know if my hair's healthier, but I do know that every time I use this conditioner, my hair looks really bad. It looks greasy, it's weighed down by the product, and it's nearly impossible to style. Whether I use a little or a lot, rinse it out quickly or leave it in, I get the same unappealing result. At least it's not a huge investment (you get a lot for the money), but if you decide to try it, do so when it's OK if you have a bad hair day.

I really like this conditioner. I have super fine hair that gets weighted down easily with most store brand conditioners. This conditioner leaves my hair soft and tangle free, while not weighing it down. It smells of mint and the scent doesn't linger. It is thinner in nature than I am used to, but I find that better for my fine texture. I'd buy this again.

This conditioner is heavy and waxy. I prefer a light conditioner that rinses off easily.

I cannot believe how well this shampoo thickens hair. It is incredible. I am giving it in gift baskets for Christmas. It is light (I have to use a lot to coat my hair - the label says use a generous amount) but it smells nice, rinses clean, and it really thickens for a conditioner.

Or did I just get a bad batch? It's like soup. More of it spills on the shower floor than gets on my hair. I really, really love Nature's Gate products and I want to love this one, but ... I just can't. It does a decent enough job of detangling, but doesn't really do anything special for my hair. It smells good -- minty and fresh. But ... I don't love it. Sorry! :-{

I used this with the shampoo and didn't care for the result. I like that the product is all-natural, but it made my hair feel greasy. Also the smell reminds me of toothpaste.

I use the shampoo, this is just the natural companion. The two are made for each other. You really can't use any other product with the shampoo. It's like holding hands with a stranger. It just doesn't work right.
