This and the Earth Science tea tree & lavender are the best natural deodorants I've tried. I use this one when I want an unscented deodorant. I think the witch hazel is an effective natural ingredient for controlling odor, and it doesn't irritate my skin. Also, the product is transparent, kind of like a glycerin soap, so it goes on very clear. And one stick lasts a really long time.

I've tried so many deodorants over the years, looking for the one which doesn't leave white residue on my clothes, has no smell, am not allergic to, lasts a full day of activities, and I think I've finally found it! I used to think Tom's was the best, but now find it irritates my skin badly. I ordered 4 different deodorants to try, and this is the winner - as long as I don't become allergic to it in the long run! Happy!!!!

I tried this deoderant for a week and noticed an odor before the end of the day. I bought deoderant soap to shower with hoping that it would help. No luck. So, I switched to another natural deoderant, 'Kiss My Face', and used the deoderant soap. It worked! About the only good thing I can say about this deoderant is that it goes on clean. I will not be using it again.

I have used this deoderant daily for over a year and love it. I've tried most of the more "natural" deoderants out there, after learning of the terrible ingredients in the mainstream products, and this is the only one that actually works for me, has almost no scent, and doesn't irritate my skin.

When I ride my bike to work, I do feel the need to re-apply this deoderant after I cool down at work, but it's not unreasonable at all. Normal days (when I take the bus), this lasts me all day.

I've been looking for an effective, non-irritating deodorant for quite some time and this one seems to fit the bill so far. I haven't experienced any irritation or burning and the product seems to last at least 8 hours. Granted, it's not the middle of the summer right now, but I'm happy anyway. I will be buying this deodorant again. I also like the mild fragrance.

I was concerned about the chemicals in most deodorants and I heard about this one working well. It does work well, though I do have to apply about twice a day or I notice a little body odor. However, it does not leave any residue on my skin or clothes and my skin seems much softer than when using other products (my previous brand was Dove). All in all, I would recommend this if you are looking for an all natural product.

I have tried several natural deoderants and they never lasted an entire day. When I tried Winter Clean, I was thrilled. It does not have much of a scent when applying - a real plus for me and it lasts all day. There is also no discoloration or smell on my shirts when I put them in the laundry. Perhaps this product works best on some people's individual chemistry as some of the reviews here say it doesn't work - but for me it is the ONLY product that I've found that has worked great.

My favorite things about the Winterfresh Nature's Gate deodorant are that it goes on smooth, NOT sticky as sooooo many other natural deodorants I've tried. It lasts all day (yes, even in Florida), even through my 2 hour evening workout, and no scent to irritate my sensitive sinuses. I've tried the Spring Fresh also, but while it smells nice initially, I find I prefer this unscented variety. Great price, product lasts a long time, well worth trying!

I like the unscented variety because nature's gate scented just smells horrible. The downsides are the first few times you wear it your body adjusts so try that on some days were your smell doesn't matter much. You do need to reapply throughout the day (like every six hours) if you have a long day or are doing strenuous things...but it works fine through my hard three hour workouts. I just don't wear it if I'm going to be teaching labs all day and know I'll be moving a lot. But it's a green product, which I like, and it works well enough for not having all those unnatural additives.
