I had never used Natures Gate products before, but had tried about every other sunless tanner on the market and thought I would give this one a try. I was pleasantly surprised. It gave my glow in the dark legs a hint of color after the first application that looked natural and didn't have that orange tint to it like other ST. I have already recommended this to a number of people and will definitely be purchasing it again and again.

This is the most pleasant sunless tanning lotion I've used. I use it before bed and by the time I wake up in the morning I can see a difference. :-) It creates a nice, even-looking tan; I even use it on my face as a nighttime moisturizer! The only cons are that the lotion takes a little while to absorb. It's also a very rich moisturizer, so you don't need much--don't go overboard or it will leave skin a little oily. The citrus scent is really nice and lasts a while - after it fades you can smell the sunless tanning lotion, which isn't great, but it's not too strong and it wears off too.

Fabulous self-tanner! Never gets orange, looks natural, NO BAD SMELL! It is gradual so it didn't get too dark. I am fair-skinned so bought the light skin tone version and use it on my neck, upper chest, arms and legs. I used it daily for 5 days, then do it 2 days on, 1 day off to maintain my subtle tan. Had friends and coworkers remark on how I looked like I've been enjoying sitting out in the sun - something I only do with sunblock on. I am purchasing the medium skin tone version for the Summer.

The light version of this is AMAZING on my NC10 skin – it has been my holy grail lotion for several months now!!! (Be weary of the medium if you are not a dark medium skin tone, if you are pale to dark light do NOT use the medium. It's not like most STs where fair skin can wear medium shade for a deeper tan. The medium will come out a horrible artificial orange on you.). I picked this up on a whim. I have used sunless tanner on and off for a while when I saw this so I figured why not. I have tried 'glow' lotions from other drugstore brands in the past and hated them. This one however gives you a natural healthy radiant glow. One of my favorite things with this is that I don't need to pay careful attention to how I apply it. I just slap it on like a regular lotion and it comes out flawless - unlike the time it takes for STs. I don't feel like this product makes me appear any darker really, just makes my skin look beautiful with a peachy tone to it. (Though it will literally darken you because I have to use a different color foundation when I wear it (I go from NC10 to NC20, I just don't think its dark enough for someone to ask you if you got sun or anything). However, I find that even though this doesn't make me dark it still makes me look healthier and prettier than ST's so it's still a winner for me. The color lasts for a pretty long time too - about 3 - 4 days for one application except for my face. It comes off of my face every night when I wash it so I have to apply it nightly but that's no different than any ST I use either. It will layer so you can build it darker if you want, you just won't get super tan with it. I wouldn't say this product smells good but its very light. I just make sure I wash in the morning (I use this at night before bed) then put on a great smelling lotion afterwards. Oh! I have also had no staining of clothes with this!

There are three surprising results I saw with this that I did not expect. 1) It evens out my blotchy skin tone, especially around my mouth where it's naturally darker. 2) It helps calm my mild rosacea when it flares. 3) It actually helps my acne calm down some. I don't know why it does these things as most lotions actually irritate my rosacea and my acne is typically a pain in the butt either way you slice it. This might be unique to me, but I love love love this stuff for that! I actually feel I can go out without foundation when I use it!! :) I hope this works for you too!

Has a mild pleasant scent. Not like standard self tanners. I purchased the light skin tones product and it gave me the touch of color I was looking for. Apply well and rub in thoroughly and you'll have no streaks or darks spots. Easy to use.

I had been looking for a natural, sunless tanning lotion for quite some time. I've used Nature's Gate products before, but never the self-tanner. I'm sure glad I gave it a try.... it's FANTASTIC! It really goes on smooth, soaks in quickly, and dries without any streaks or weird smell. I use it on my body and my face, and the color is surprisingly very natural. Even though my skin is very fair, I decided to try the "medium tone" lotion color, instead of the "light tone". I recommend this to everyone. Once you try it, you'll love it!

I love that I found a natural glow lotion, I have tried another one (not natural) from this site that had great reviews and was cheaper but it didn't work for me. This one did. It took a little while to show some color, about a week, but once it showed it was natural and even. After a while of using it inspect your legs and ankles to make sure it's still even and hasn't clumped. It's easy to rub off in the shower if you find any spots. Overall, I'm thrilled Nature's Gate makes this! Great product!

This is very a very good lotion. No orange streaks; gradual tan. Highly recommend.
