I was looking for a cheap and natural beauty product. You get a lot of shampoo for your money with Nature's Gate. The smell is really good to me. It might be off putting to someone who is used to perfumes in hair products. It smells very nice for natural products though. At first it didn't lather so well, but I just use a bit more and it lathers just as well as shampoo with sulfates. This will probably become my regular shampoo as long as they make it. Im interested to try the conditioner next.

This shampoo is NOT for dry hair - or for women that dont want to smell like a cedar aftershave.

Also, the conditioner that goes with it, while effective for somewhat dry hair, has about 3x's the cologne as the shampoo - was very overwhelming & gave me a headache. I LOVE that Nature's Gate is so affordable for a natural shampoo, but I will not be buying this scent again.

I have struggled with frizzy dry hair my whole life. This shampoo and the conditioner have changed my hair texture to smooth, shiny, silky, and soft! I have to watch the ingredients because sometimes they switch off and on with nut oils which I am allergic to. When they do I switch to another Nature's Gate one like: Jojoba or tea tree oil They are all good! I have been using this for years and love it. Best price I've found is here on drugstore.com

I have naturally wavy to curly hair. I prefer to straighten my hair most of the time. My hair will typically look a bit frizzy and or dry whether I wear it straight or curly, especially the first day I wash it. I tend to wash my hair every other day to help with this. More recently I've been researching and trying more natural or organic shampoos and conditioners. After the first use of this shampoo I could see and feel a difference. My hair felt thicker and was much less frizzy and dry looking. I am extremely happy with this product and will continue to purchase it. I also use the Hemp conditioner with it and I love that as well. Do be sure to rinse the conditioner well!

Very concentrated so good value for money. Small quarter size amount is plenty to wash my long hair.

I shampoo twice a day, and using this shampoo in combination with the conditioner, leaves my hair perfectly clean, shiny, with no frizz and little fly-aways. I love that the shampoo lathers up well, rinses easily, and leaves hair squeaky-clean. And with no parabens, I'm entirely satisfied!

This is Ok. I've been using it for a few months, but am actually on here looking for a new bottle of shampoo. It makes my hair squeaky clean, but leaves it with a sort of dry, coarse texture that I don't like.
