I have short hair but decided to let it grow long and wanted a shampoo that won't dry out my hair. I like this shampoo alot. It cleans well but is gentle at the same time. I only need to lather and rinse once unless my hair is really dirty/oily, then I shampoo, rinse, repeat. It smells pretty good too, natural and then the smell disappears quickly leaving just a clean smell on the hair. It doesn't have any irritating chemicals that some shampoos have so I haven't had any scalp itchies after using it! I will probably keep buying this one.

I've been using this shampoo for a while and have been pleased with it's performance. But when I read the label more closely, I realized it contains some chemicals that have been shown to be harmful i.e.Sodium Laureth Sulfate. This is NOT an all natural or organic shampoo. If that's not an issue for you, then it's a decent shampoo.

This product is gentle and it gets my hair very clean. LOVE THE SMELL and FEEL of my hair after using this product. I'll always buy it!

Wow, this smell! I wish the makers of this product didn't think that we all want to smell like hippies. If they would ease up on the overwhelming, room-filling fragrance, I would love this product. As it is, I'm back to Burts Bees.

We use both the herbal and hemp shampoos Nature's Gate puts out. They're excellent products for the money and better than many, more expensive shampoos. We recommend the shampoo for daily use and for thinning hair also. Also for allergy-sensitive types.

This shampoo is great.....I recently bought an expensive brand and it left my hair flat, this shampoo made my hair volumous and shiny, not dry and like straw. I use it in conjunction with the conditioner. The smell is nice, kind of like oriental perfumes (spicy). I have received numerous compliments on how good my hair smells. I will continue to use these products as they work really good on my hair (doesn't make my scalp itch either).
