This deodorant irritates my skin, makes my sweat smell even worse than normal, and has over 20 ingredients - none of which seem to work.

It was bad enough that I went back to regular deodorants for a short time before I finally found mineral salt based brands, which work great.

This product has a nice, fresh smell, and works well to control my mild odor problems. Someone who perspires more would probably want a stronger anti-perspirant, but effective natural ones are hard to find. I had no problem with irritation or allergies with this product.

This is working well for me as a daily deodorant. It does not prevent perspiration, but that is because it has no aluminum - the ingredient you are trying to avoid. It takes a bit longer to dry than my old stick, but it is worth waiting to eliminate the aluminum.

If I wanted to keep anyone who may come within 30 feet of me at bay, I would continue to use this. I'm small, and very thin, yet I sweat like a mule. And my sweat stinks. While the chamomile & verbena fragrance smells wonderful in the bottle, it does nothing to neutralize odor. Plus, mixed with the inevitable perspiration, this deodorant makes me smell like a skunk sprayed me. If you're not much of a sweater and you want a mild, fresh deodorant, this may work well. Unfortunately, I must brave the risks of using products with high concentrations of aluminum, or I'll be be very lonely.

I love the scent of the chamomile/lemon verbena -- it's soft and subtle. With natural deodorants, be prepared to perspire, so if you're looking for something to control perspiration (anti-perspirants) then you're not ready for a natural deodorant. It took me a while to find a natural deodorant that I liked -- didn't like Tom's of Maine, or Jason deodorants. I tried this while on vacation and really loved it. It is a little sticky, but that doesn't bother me. Now, I use a crystal (mineral salt) roll-on first and then I apply the Nature's Gate for added protection and a nice smell. Be prepared to experiment with a combination that works best for you. The lavender version works well also, but I found the scent to be a little overwhelming and masculine.

My husband and I were having problems finding something that worked and didn't cause us to get a rash or irritated. My husband, who didn't believe any of the natural products would work, was very surprised. We live in the sunny warm central valley of CA -- it gets over 100% in summers, and neither of us had a control problem as far as sweating or order. He further surprised me with his comment on the clean refreshing smell. I may be slightly sticky upon application but does not stay that way. We love it. Also my husband is on dialysis so I am pleased to find something nontoxic to his system!! And works! We will be continuing customers.

This is yet another disappointing solid natural deodorant that like the others simply does not work. Not only does it go on sticky, it doesn't do anything, period. I was hoping to find a natural alternative to antiperspirants but I'll stick to Lady Speed Stick solid, which goes on dry but keeps working all day to keep you fresh and dry.

I have never written a review before but I just felt the need for it this time. This product is really not working. I was hoping to find an organic deodorant for everyday use (no sports or physical activity) and I did not expect miracles, but this product made me stink!! I don't sweat excessively, and I only used it on cool, low activity days, when I hardly need any. Honestly I would have been better off without it. I really wanted it to work just a tiny bit, at least to get some use out of it (it wasn't that cheap after all), but I can't make myself put it on again. It was a complete waste of money. Very disappointing!

This didn't work well for my husband or me. We'll stick to pure alcohol out of a spray bottle for my husband (Dr. Weil's suggestion some time ago) - it's cheaper too! I'll stick to the salt rock. It works great - I just get annoyed with the dripping water upon application.
