Thin brittle straw. That's what I had. Aging seemed to take my hair and replace it with straw. It had no bounce and broke off a lot. I've tried so many conditioners; some pricey(aka sold at malls) some cheap and most in between. John Masters seemed to be the best line for my straw, but wow pretty pricey. So I kept looking and ran across this one by Nature's Gate. Seemed to have quality natural ingredients I usually like(even though I've also tried the chemical stuff too)and the price was reasonable so I figured what the heck. Well,after the first use my hair felt so soft! Someone stole my straw hat! To top it all off, it also smells very pleasant! I'm trying all the other products too and this line has some very good skin stuff as well, such natural quality ingredients and soft skin/hair/smells! Really saving me some money too. Everyone's hair and preferences are different, but if you have fine straw on your head, this might do it for you.

I love that this product helps my hair. I haven't had handfuls of my hair come out in the shower like I used to. I also like the fact that my hair feels soft and it smells so great!

I am an African American with tightly curled natural hair. I have tried many products and this conditioner is the best! The conditioner seems to lock in moisture. I use it in conjunction with the shampoo. After spending money on so many other products it appears this was what I needed all along!

This conditioner unfortunately wasn't moisturizing enough for my thin, dry, long hair.

I've been using this product for 7 years and LOVE it! It should have 5-star reviews! I'm so stuck on this I panic if I can't find it! GREAT for any hair type (I have fine-med).

I love this conditioner. It has really made a difference to soften my hair and leave it shiny. I like that it has the properties of a deep moisturizer, but is the same price as other natural conditioners. As long as you leave it on for 1-3 minutes as instructed, it will do what it claims. Like I said with the shampoo, not a totally great smell, but I didn't hate it either. I've been having a hard time finding an organic shampoo that doesn't completely make a tangly mess of my hair. This is definitely a winner.

This is, in my opinion, quite simply the best conditioner out there. I've been using it forever. It detangles, moisturizes like crazy, repairs damage, and leaves my hair soft, silky, and manageable. (By the way, I don't know how a conditioner can moisturize "too well," as the previous review states; this is a deep moisturizing conditioner, intended for dry hair, and it does what it says.) The scent is out of this world: more chamomile than verbena. My only complaint is that I miss the old packaging, which was prettier.

I was skeptical in buying this product as I had tried a Warren-Tricomi conditioner which smelled so awful I couldnt use it. But I liked the Natures Gate Shampoo so I thought I'd give it a try. Works well, smells great, and it is not too thick or too watery. Overall, a great product for a decent price, would buy again!

Ever since I tried it out on a whim a few years ago, I have been totally obsessed with this conditioner and the matching shampoo. I use them every day, and my hair has never been healthier--seriously. They're organic (which I love) and as gentle as can be: the conditioner is wonderfully moisturizing, but it rinses clean, leaving behind the most delicate and beautiful scent imaginable. (I'm not usually a fan of verbena, but it's actually really subtle mixed with the softness of chamomile.) I am so glad drugstore.com is finally carrying this!
