I was really thrilled to have found this pair of shampoo and conditioner because I use the nature's gate skin products and really like them. I have sensitive skin, REALLY sensitive. It breaks out all the time sometimes just scratching makes it red. I get really happy when I find a sulfate free shampoo that has a lot of plant and herbal ingredients, so I tried this. Here's what I loved while shampooing, the shampoo felt like a rich lather without sulfates which is amazing, I could feel it thickening as I rinsed, and the conditioner was silky on my hair but not too heavy, and the comb out was so easy. These two things are a dream come true for my fine hair. I had gone to work and hadn't felt any itching or burning, but later that night I noticed in the mirror that my scalp was red all over. Not bright, but red in patches. It was also sensitive to the touch. I'm not sure what ingredient I'm allergic to, could be the horsetail... lemongrass.. something, but I just can't use it, though I'd LOVE to. Bottom line, I would definitely recommend it. It's wonderful if you're not allergic to it. I gave it two stars because of MY experience. But the actual product I really give a 5.

I did not like the smell at all - I used it twice thinking I'd get used to the smell - yet I still dont like it. Definatley will not buy again.

I've tried Nature's Gate Tea Tree Shampoo/Conditioner and love the smell.

I have been trying organic products for my hair and this one is the only one I have ever found to work. I have wavy/curly hair and I like to straighten my hair from time to time, and even without straightening my hair, I have had comments from beauty salon women asking me waht I use on my hair and I tell them this one with the conditioner of the same scent and nothing else, no other products go in my hair to add shine, anything. Highly reccommend this to anyone trying organics for the first time.

My hair feels soft and looks shiny with this shampoo but it smells like lemon candy. Unfortunately, the smell is too much for me to smell it around me all day. I purchased both the shampoo and the conditioner but I am using a different conditioner to mask the smell. I probably will not purchase again.

It leaves my hair tangle free, silky and shiney. I also like it because it does not contain the chemical DEA. (which when used can be absorbed into the scalp, possibly causing cancer). So not only is it a wonderful product for healthy hair. It also contributes to the health of the body.
