I bought this lotion as my regular (Avalon Organics} brand was on backorder so I decided to give it a whirl as I love organic lotions but the Nature's Gate was'nt even close to being as good as the Avalon. It is thin and a bit runny, no richness to it. It is not greasy so that is one good thing about it, but it does'nt treat my dry skin as well and it does'nt last long. I am back to my usual brand.

"My" lotion for several years now. I've recently turned on most of my family to it and buy it in multiple quantities. Great moisturizing, light pleasant scent, goes on perfectly.

I was in agreement with all of the previous reviews -- this was my go-to lotion for years. Anyone I knew who would try it instantly fell in love.

That is, until Nature's Gate recently created a new "improved" formula. Now, instead of a rich, perfectly-balanced lotion, we are left with a slimy, greasy, and completely unsatisfying product. From 5 stars to 1 star. (What were they thinking?) No longer recommended, and so disappointed.

Now I am stuck and I don't know how I can find a lotion as stellar as the original formula. If anyone has a suggestion, please do share!

First time user, love this lotion, smells great, feels great. I would definitely need more for my sons in the winter as they have very dry skin but overall it is a great lotion. It is also a really good deal for the price.

Skin truly is soft and dryness is gone. Helps to heal dry chapped skin. Works Wonders on fingernails and toenails keeping them moisturized, and also on any callouses. This tops the list as the Best Ever lotion! It is the only one I use! I give this lotion as gifts, as well, and there are many more who are now sold on this extremely high quality lotion!

I love the smell and the silky, non-greasy feel of this lotion. The only and I mean only thing I would change is that I want more moisture from this product, as my skin is very dry. Other than that I will definitely continue to buy away!

I just started to use this lotion and I love it. I have really dry ashy skin and this really moisturized it. When I was holding my niece, she asked if i was wearing lotion because my skin was so soft and smooth. I love to try many products but I have found a lotion I will stick with. I also love the smell, it's not too overpowering. I think it doesn't really smell like papaya but i like the smell anyway.

Smells good, tropical scented... a little oily on my hands after but still a great product. I use after showering and my kids like it too.
