However, I don't use the bottle it comes in; I pour it into a spray bottle of my own (that has an adjustable nozzle). Try it, and you'll be surprised how much easier it is to use. I don't get pet "accidents", just the occasional hairball I have to clean up. I have light beige, non-Stainmaster carpet that holds on to red dye (cat food) stains terribly. This product doesn't eliminate the stains entirely. I have yet to find anything that does, even bleach. I hate that this product is not in a spray bottle. I feel like I'm wasting so much by pouring it out. I would go through this bottle way too quickly for my needs. Not only were the stains yellow and brown on our tan carpet, but the stains had a terrible stale urine smell. I tried several products before I came across Nature's Miracle. This product works great! If you have older stains you will have to use the product several times, but the smell will go away. You may have to lift the carpet to get to the bottom of the stain/smell on the padding or subfloor, but this product does its job! Also works for "spray" from male cats. Completely rids the scent. I bought two of these bottles, followed the directions, plus put a 1/4 cup of baking soda on top of that and then began to wash them with their normal shampoo! I could barely smell the skunk! I pick up the excess, then spray this and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Then I absorb all the liquid. Works everytime! I bought it when I bought a new puppy for the expected puppy "accidents, but it really does remove blood stains, perspirations stains, and food stains that had already been washed-in. I just love it, and went back to the store to buy the largest size bottle they sell so that I can refill the spray bottle. Use it liberally, repeat if necessary, and it will take out virtually any stain you can think of. Maybe it's meant more to work on cloth and carpet than terazzo and wood, because I've used several bottles' worth and scrubbed and wiped and let dry and reapplied--but it obviously hasn't gotten rid of the cat pee, because I can still smell it and my cat keeps coming back. And while it's perfect for pet accidents, it's just as effective for human ones. Have yet to find a stain, it will not remove from clothing, bedding, etc. The trick is to keep it handy. Quick and liberal application is key. Tough stains may need a second dose, time to penetrate, and some light rubbing. Blot with paper towels. A simply incredible product. And totally SAFE for our pets, ourselves, and our planet. Have used it for a decade. Will try the spray next. Comments about Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor Remover, 32 fl oz: This product is definately a miracle! It has basically no scent at all, so it doesn't "cover up" smells from pet accidents. Instead they are completely just...GONE! Stains too! My dog has had a few accidents on our very pale beige carpet, and this has made it as if it never happened at all. No odor, no stain. Also we had gotten some blood on the carpet, and immediately reached for this. We sprayed it on, rubbed it around with our fingers and the blood disappeared.
