My 4 year old and 6 1/2 year old both take two capsules a day with dinner. The capsules are smaller than the usual adult size fish oil, and they both learned how to swallow them whole. They've been taking the capsules for about one month without any complaints.

Comments about Nature's Plus Animal Parade, Omega 3/6/9 Junior Children's Fatty Acid Dietary Supplement, 90 softgels:

Our pediatrician recommends that kids get omega fatty acids in their diet. It helps with brain development
Fish is a good source, but if the kids are vegetarian, or you're concerned about mercury in the fish, or if the kids just don't eat much fish then that source doesn't work. Flax seeds are another source, but it requires eating a lot of flax seeds. Fish oil and flax oil are good sources, but kids (at least mine) don't like the taste, even when mixed with other foods.
We've tried other fish oil vitamins, but the flavor is pretty nasty.
These Nature's Plus Omega vitamins are different. They have a mild citrus flavor and are palatable to kids.
I got my kids to try them by describing them as beetles that you crunch down on and suck the juices out of. Yeah, a gross description, but it hyped up the vitamins so that they smiled and willingly tried them.
Now my kids take two a day (one in the morning and one at night) and are pretty happy with doing so.
My conclusion is that these vitamins are a winner.
The only downside is that they're a bit expensive. I don't know how any basic vitamin/oil mixture can be expensive - the actual material cost should be quite low. Perhaps the problem is that they don't make and sell a lot, so the manufacturing overhead is not amortized over enough units.
Anyway, I'd still recommend these vitamins.
