This works wonders to stop bronchitis cough. Our only complaint is that the 8 oz. size is the same product as the 4 oz. size, although the web site description is not the same. The word extract is missing, so we did not know what we were buying until the order arrived. We bought the 4 oz. size unnecessarily so we could compare the products. Buy the 8 oz. size for $18.99 and save some.

I take this product when I feel a cold coming on. Nine times out of ten I beat the cold and do not get sick. I think these are pretty good odds.

I was fighting off a bad cold and decided to give this a try. Since it is a bit costly I took it once a day in the evenings and found it quite effective in helping get rid of the cold. I cant afford to use it as a preventative but I believe its a very powerful antioxidant that would be beneficial for daily use. Best of all it is natural and not laden with chemicals and unnecessary medications.

Nature's Way Sambucus, Black Elderberry Sugar Free Extract, Liquid is a great improvement on an excellent product. My husband is diabetic so he hesitated to take the original extract even though it was such an effective anti-viral. Now, he can use the extract at the first sign of a viral infection and avoid getting a full-blown cold or worse which would adversely affect his health. This is one of the best products I have ever seen.

This is a fantastic product for everyday use, or intensive use when you feel you are coming down with something. I love the fact that it is a natural product, and that it comes in a sugar free variety. I take my two teaspoons every day, and haven't suffered with a cold all year!

I've taken Sambucol early on to nip a cold in the bud, and later when heavy symptoms had already developed. Sambucol offered very effective relief in both situations. I always keep a couple of bottles on hand.

My cousins told me about this and how it helped them get over some nasty colds. Until then I had never heard of it. So I purchased a couple bottles to have on hand. My dad is a diabetic, so that's the main reason we bought the sugar free kind - and are we ever glad they made it! We had it in the house about a week, when we came down with colds. I had a bad time this past autumn with colds that seemed to go right into my chest, and I didn't want that all over again. I took the Sambucol, and wow - I was well in a couple of days, and the same with the rest of the family. It didn't raise my dad's blood sugars, and he was better in about a day and a half! He doesn't like elderberries - but he liked the taste of this. A bit expensive? Maybe so, but well worth it!

At my mother's recommendation, I reluctantly started using this stuff. WOW! It cuts cold time down tremendously and seems to work like Echinacea in preventing infections -- but better at it! I've used it while pregnant and nursing to avoid the cough and cold remedies and it works great. We even use it for our toddler and though the sugar free version is a little "yucky" to her, it works!
