I have used St. John's Wort for several years now. While I didn't initially realize it was working, I ran out and went without it for about 10 days and my depression came back in spades. So, I know that it effectively keeps my depression at bay. I take one in the morning and sometimes another one later in the day if I'm feeling down. I like this particular brand because it's a little stronger - 350 mg compared to most brands which are only 300 mg. I have never noticed any side effects.

St. John's Wort really does help ease (not cure) depression when taken on a regular basis. I ran out once for about ten days and really noticed the difference, and I was only taking one capsule per day. The thing I like about this particular brand is they're 350 mg capsules, while most other brands are only 300 mg. I really like the added strength and sometimes I'll take a second capsule later in the day if I'm feeling particularly blue. It's been around forever, so it's got a good track record. I've been taking it for several years and highly recommend it.

This is the first time I have ever taken St.JW so I have nothing else to compare it to, but I could already feel the difference in my mood.

Note: To make this medication most effective, be sure to eat a healthy diet. Also, avoid any caffeinated beverages as much as possible while taking St.JW. When taking St.JW, exercise daily, (or at least once every other day). What are some other ways that help my depression? 1) Think positive thoughts. 2) Do things that make you feel happy 3) Set goals and meet or exceed it.

To be safe, talk to your doctor prior to taking this medication. They most likely say no and prescribe Zoloft or Prozac instead, but at the end, you make the final decision.

This has really helped balance my mood swings and keep depression at bay. It is an excellent alternative to prescription anti-depression medication, is easy to take, and has no side effects. In my opinion, this condensed form is truly the best on the market.

I use this stuff as directed, twice daily. I can really tell when I miss a dose as I get cranky. The only thing that is not so great about this product is that it an give you some funky breath for a little while after you take it.

After a few weeks of use I have noticed that I worry much less than ever. Its always been an issue for me. Big and little issues, I would worry, worry, worry. This really helps put these demons to bed. Speaking of bed, I can now sleep as if I am normal as well. Just an added bonus which I didnt expect.
