The first thing I noticed about this version of SJW was the color-- much lighter than the other versions I've taken. It doesnt have the mossy green color. The second thing I've noticed is its lack of effectiveness. I can't tell whether I've taken it or not. With other brands of SJW Im able to notice the difference within 30 mins. I should have read the bottle better. The label states certified rather than standardized, which is not the same. 350mg has no meaning unless it's standardized. It can contain mostly fillers for all we know. I find this somewhat deceptive. I've already placed an order for a different brand.

I take half the recommended dose as a mood stabilizer. Cheaper and just as effective (for me) as anti-depressant meds. No negative side effects.

I do believe that St.John's Wort is highly effective.I seem to prefer the brand called Kira,however.I went from taking nothing to taking Kira and noticed a substantial difference.I took the Kira for approximately two months,then switched to this brand.I seemed to feel better using the Kira but not sure if it is just that I am now used to St.John's Wort.

I have used St. John's Wort for several years now. While I didn't initially realize it was working, I ran out and went without it for about 10 days and my depression came back in spades. So, I know that it effectively keeps my depression at bay. I take one in the morning and sometimes another one later in the day if I'm feeling down. I like this particular brand because it's a little stronger - 350 mg compared to most brands which are only 300 mg. I have never noticed any side effects.

St. John's Wort really does help ease (not cure) depression when taken on a regular basis. I ran out once for about ten days and really noticed the difference, and I was only taking one capsule per day. The thing I like about this particular brand is they're 350 mg capsules, while most other brands are only 300 mg. I really like the added strength and sometimes I'll take a second capsule later in the day if I'm feeling particularly blue. It's been around forever, so it's got a good track record. I've been taking it for several years and highly recommend it.

This is the first time I have ever taken St.JW so I have nothing else to compare it to, but I could already feel the difference in my mood.

Note: To make this medication most effective, be sure to eat a healthy diet. Also, avoid any caffeinated beverages as much as possible while taking St.JW. When taking St.JW, exercise daily, (or at least once every other day). What are some other ways that help my depression? 1) Think positive thoughts. 2) Do things that make you feel happy 3) Set goals and meet or exceed it.

To be safe, talk to your doctor prior to taking this medication. They most likely say no and prescribe Zoloft or Prozac instead, but at the end, you make the final decision.

This is the best St. John's Wort I've tried so far. I've tried other brands with no results. This brand and dosage really works for me.

This has really helped balance my mood swings and keep depression at bay. It is an excellent alternative to prescription anti-depression medication, is easy to take, and has no side effects. In my opinion, this condensed form is truly the best on the market.
