Suma is a large shrubby vine native to the rain forests of the Amazon and other tropical regions of Latin America, including Brazil, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela. The root of the plant is used medicinally.
Suma is also known as Brazilian Ginseng due to its popularity within the large Japanese community in Brazil. Although it is not a member of the Ginseng botanical family, it appears to offer some of the same properties.
Nature's Way® uses only properly matured Suma root from Brazil.

Comments about Nature's Way Suma Root, Capsules, 100 ea:
After seeing this is the Dr Oz show I figured I'd give it a shot. My mood swings have gone from bad to worse after the age of 35 (never pregnant) and it wasn't clinical depression or PMS. This stuff, after about 2 months, made my fiancee and mother (both live with me) remark on how much more lifted and consistent my mood was. If this sounds similar and your doctors haven't diagnosed you with something more serious...give it a shot! Its a negligible expense.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
