Surprisingly for a natural hair color the color was rich and has lasted a long time. I have had it for six weeks now and still looking good.

This is a terrible hair dye (I mean it!). I can't believe I damaged my hair in just 20 mins with this so-called natural hair color (and it didn't even give a good color at all!).

First of all, it does color your hair but in a very dull and flat way. It turns my hair into hay-like and dries it out like crazy. I've never experienced any hair color like this. It's quite deceiving that it claims itself to be natural because most people would like natural meaning at least not as harsh as chemical ones.

I recommend you stick with your regular ones, just anything from the grocery store would do a far better job than this one. If you truly want something natural, go with henna dye. Do not buy this!

I've been dying my hair basically the same color brown for nearly ten years, but begrudginly so, since I otherwise tend toward holistically-informed health practices and plant-derived beauty products. So I was very excited about this product.

I usually buy Revlon Color Silk, because it's the cheapest, but bought this significantly pricier one thinking that 'all-natural' would also mean 'non-damaging,' at least lesser so than conventional dyes with harsh chemicals. Wrong. I will not be buying again.

Firstly, the shade is FLAT. Even my cheap-o dye gives me a little low-light and high-light. This does not.

Secondly, it was way darker than anticipated, nearly black, and then FADED RAPIDLY. I actually don't hate the shade it's at now, 2 weeks after dying, but the dye made my hair so DRY and DULL that it doesn't matter. NO shine, NO movement, NO depth.

The conditioner they provided is absolutely the thinnest, cheapest I've ever used---and I've used a lot of cheap conditioner. In fact, I usually prefer thinner conditioners since I have such fine hair, but this was absolutely useless-- didn't come close to saturating my hair upon rincing. Why? Because my hair was excessively dry due to the dye. I had to use the entire bottle *plus my own conditioner.
Honestly, the lousy conditioner (they also provided a shampoo which is totally OK) is not a factor in my one-star review. I otherwise wouldn't care, but thought it's worth mentioning for a nearly twenty-dollar product.

I chose this product in my search to find hair color that's not tested on animals. I like this better than the Clairol and L'Oreal semi-permanent colors I had been using! Naturtint is easy to use and easily wipes off any surfaces, the smell is soft and the color doesn't burn my skin. I had a few white hairs that needed covering and they're completely dark now, using the 4N Natural Chestnut shade. I skipped the shampoo step so hopefully the color might last a bit longer- I cannot testify to that factor yet. Overall this is a fantastic haircolor and I'm so glad it is cruelty-free.

Best hair color I have ever used. Other brands make my scalp itch the next day but this one does not. No smell and color is great. I have ordered more of it. I have dark brown hair and used Natural Chestnut. Worth every penny.

Will be buying this product again! I am 36 and about 15% gray. I have always colored my hair at home because of the cost at salons, but lately unhappy with my results. I have dark brown hair and if I color my natural color, my ends get too dark. If I go lighter I get red and it never really covers the gray. This product is different. the color looks natural, not too dark and it covers my gray and the color lasts until it grows out. I think this is a great value. Last time I colored w/ this product I also bought the 3N shade, mixed the 2 and the color was perfect for me!

At first I thought this color was going to be way too dark for my liking, even though it is almost my natural color. But I wanted to avoid "golden" colors which will turn my hair brassy too fast, and I wanted a natural hair color which is very hard to find. While this color did go on quite dark, it turned out really beautiful. I colored my hair with it almost two weeks ago, and the darkest parts of the color (which always concentrate around my hairline since that's where I start attacking grays) have begun to lighten slightly. Overall, this is an awesome hair color. Perfect gray coverage, and a pleasant smell with NO SCALP BURNING! Awesome product. The conditioner requires re-application "in a fortnight" which I found highly amusing, being a Southerner. I had to google "fortnight" to see when to reapply!! 2 weeks, in case you are wondering. I will definitely buy this product again.
