This is the best coloring agent that is both enduring, natural and safe for me. I stopped perming because of the burning from the products so I wanted a product that was safe on my hair and my scalp. This does it and I constantly receive compliments on the color from complete strangers - especially in the salon, but even on the outside. I take my color with me to the salon, even though I receive no discount; that's how much I trust it.

After an initial positive experience with 5N, I let that color fade and switched to this lighter shade. Was hoping to cut down on root touchups and lessen the skunk effect since gray was growing in fast. All went well, until one day my scalp itched after applying. Since I'd been using the product for several months with no problems, figured I'd accidentally left it on too long. A few weeks later, used it again, timing carefully, and wound up with hives and a weeping sore. Weird thing is, arm patch test showed no reaction. Anyway, I was pretty new to hair coloring and so had been impressed with no ammonia, "natural" labeling, lack of chemical stench, etc. But this product does have PPDs, which many people are allergic to. Yes, it has less than some other dyes, but if you're sensitive it might not take much. I wish I could go on using this because overall I'd been pleased, but I absolutely cannot. Proceed with caution.

About 3 years ago I began to lose my hair, especially on top. At 53 I just didn't want to go gray, but could no longer use harsh chemicals in hair dye.

I found Naturtint at a health food grocery along with several other brands. I come back to Naturtint because it has the shiniest, deepest color that I get many compliments on, and covers the most gray the longest. Of course, you can't do anything about growth other than retouch!

I'm on this website today to order more of the same; I get 3 or 4 boxes at a time.

This is most lasting colorant I have ever used. Covers gray well and doesn't look faded after a few washes. Conditioner that comes with it improves hair texture. I was surprised with results as it seemed not to be as creamy when applying making it a little more difficult to apply but it was worth the little bit of extra effort.

It was super easy to use, however, unlike most other home color kits, you have to rinse it out, and then use your own ph-neutral shampoo before the conditioner provided in the box. That said, my naturally super-fine hair feels very THICK and SOFT! The color I chose was dark blonde, however, it turned out darker than the light brown I usually use by a different brand - there is nothing remotely blonde about it, more like a med brown... but it IS quite pretty, and very much a natural looking color. Overall, I will definitely use the product again, but definitely a lighter color! By the way, my grey is more GONE than ever, and that was the primary reason to color at all!!

This products works just as well as the ones with harsh chemicals, but it is natural so I don't worry about using it every 3 or 4 weeks.

I found this product faded very quickly. The drak blonde is darker than the light brown I normally use and did not give me the highlights I hoped for. I also did not like the texture of my hair after using this haircolor. Going back to my regular brands (whatever is on sale with the exeption of Clairol which fades even faster)

the color is very gently and easy to use no strong scent. the only con is that the color comes out much darker than what's shown on the box. I have dark brown hair and this color gave me tones on light brown.
