Comments about Naturtint Permanent Hair Colorant, 9N Honey Blonde, 5.45 fl oz: Was hesitant based on other comments, but I heeded them well. This is an all natural product, different from any store brand, including "no ammonia" ones -- do the allergy test and strand test to be sure your skin and hair will react well. The blonde shade has peroxide in it, so the longer you leave it, the blonder you get. I went for 30 minutes instead of 20, due to gray hairs, but ended up with summery blonde hair, which was okay, since it was almost May, but for winter, I would only go 20 minutes to go a bit darker. The odor is earthy, a little pungent, but VERY mild compared to "no ammonia" non-natural products. Overall, I was very pleased, but just warn people to read the directions and follow them. Somewhat drippy, but not as bad as I was expecting from other comments.

Best Uses Comments about Naturtint Permanent Hair Colorant, 9N Honey Blonde, 5.45 fl oz: I have dark blonde hair and was expecting just to lighten it up a bit. I used the package according to the directions and my hair turned a bright orangey red. Had to pay $80 to get it fixed by a professional the next day. To my fault I did not do the test on a strand, but have dyed my hair from a box before with fine results. I will not use again.

Comments about Naturtint Permanent Hair Colorant, 9N Honey Blonde, 5.45 fl oz: I normally use Revlon. I tried this instead and it is a bit messy/runny. Not as thick as the Revlon. The color was good and covered the gray. I did not mix it in a bowl like the instructions say. I just used it straight out of the plastic container and it worked fine. I have only had it on for a week, so I can't comment on whether it is long lasting or not. I will probably only use this sometimes because it costs 4 times as much as what I normally use, plus I have to order it online [...] If it cost less, I would use it more. Also, even though there is no ammonia, there is still a strong smell. Not as bad as my old stuff but definitely not odor free.

Comments about Naturtint Permanent Hair Colorant, 9N Honey Blonde, 5.45 fl oz: I'm a long time user of store-bought color, both kits and later on using ingredients from a beauty supply store and mixing my own. Hubby hated the fumes and would even leave the house. Once I got facial burns from a kit!
