Comments about Nectresse Natural No Calorie Sweetener Packets, 40 ea:

this product is truly natural unlike splenda and equal which are loaded with chemicals. I spoke to manufacturer and the sweetener is derived from the monk fruit plus there are strict quality controls that factor into its production.

Comments about Nectresse Natural No Calorie Sweetener Packets, 40 ea:

I'm always trying to incorporate sugar substitutes into my everyday life to cut back on calories, so I thought I'd give this stuff a try since it's supposedly "natural".

Well, I've baked with it, I've used it to sweeten tea, and although it is definitely sweeter than sugar (so you can use less of it), it still tastes a bit artificial. I would compare the taste to a combination of honey and an artificial sweetener such as sucralose (which makes sense, because it IS made by Splenda, the company that mass produces sucralose). It has an odd aftertaste, but otherwise I give this product about 3 stars.

FYI - Each packet is supposedly equivalent to 2 tsp. of sugar, so 40 packets = about a cup and a half of sugar you can cut out of your diet!
