Wow. So, I went to a seminar about sleep apnea (I have a mild case) and was told that surfers and people who swim in the ocean have excellent sinuses because of the saltwater that ends up in their sinus cavity from time to time. This product was recommended as something that would help with snoring and just general well-being and I just had to try it. The price is totally right for something so simple, yet so effective!! I usually wake up in the morning with a bad sinus headache, puffy eyes, etc. I used this product only twice and I feel a difference in the way I breathe and feel. I also felt more refreshed this morning when I woke up and didn't even hit the snooze button. It was recommended to me that I use this product in the shower instead of over the sink (imagine the stuff that would get all over!) and to microwave the bottle and cap as it says in the booklet, to sterilize the product. Please give this a try and be consistent with it! The doctor mentioned to use it 2 x per day and never skip a day.

Saline irrigation clearly works, but this product is a real pain to use. Mixing your own solution is like buying Coke concentrate and mixing up your own batch of cola. Simply Saline is much easier to use, and also has no preservatives, but is sterile. My doctor recommended it to me after having sinus surgery, due to its sterility. My husband's doctor recommended this to him when he was suffering from sinus pressure and cold symptoms. He had previously used the NetiPot by Neilmed, but much prefers this delivery method now. He says that it feels like it is irrigating much better, and really getting to the problem instead of just filtering through.

I'm deployed to Afghanistan and between all the dust and other pollutants in the air from burning trash, I was constantly having issues with my sinuses. I use the NeilMed Sinus Rinse every night to clean my sinuses out (with bottled water of course) and I haven't had as many sinus problems since I started using it.

I started out with a headache that lasted a week. I'm not one to get headaches that lasts that long. Doctor diagnosed me with Acute Sinusits and recommended I try the Sinus Rinse along with Sudafed and Advil to help with the inflamation before taking antibiotics. There is no doubt that the first time does feel WEIRD, but you get used it and it is actually makes me feel a lot better. I found this product to be very effective and would definitely recomend it!

I used to use a Neti Pot to irrigate my sinuses but had little success because of cartilage blockage in my nose and a deviated septum. Well, I finally decided to have a long overdue surgery on my sinuses, septum, and turbinates. The day after surgery when they pulled the packing out of my nose, I was surprised to see the nurse give me this specific package. My surgeon's instructions was to irrigate my sinuses as described 2-3 times daily for several weeks. I followed the directions verbatim and could not believe the difference between this squeeze bottle setup vs the Neti Pot. It is amazing how well you can breathe (and how much "stuff" comes out of your nose).
The best part about this setup in my opinion is that you can sterilize it in the microwave. After each use, I hand wash it with a paper towel and dish soap, rinse everything off well, and nuke it on high for 2 minutes. I'm also too lazy to boil my own water to use in this so I simply use distilled water (also recommended by the manufacturer) at room temperature. If that bothers you, you can CAREFULLY microwave the water for a few seconds to get it closer to your body temp; I never thought it was worth the extra hastle. The saline solution in each packet is very convenient (one packet, distilled water to the line on the bottle, and rinse), does not burn at all, and is actually quite refreshing.
I can't say enough good things about this product. I will continue to do this daily routine because of how well I can breathe for hours after using it. It is FAR better than any OTC drug or nose spray I have ever used.

I recently had a septoplasty and suffer from severe chronic allergies. I carry around tissues all year round and so having the septoplasty was torture because mucus kept buliding up but I couldn't blow my nose. Prescriptions were not working and regular saline sprays didn't cut it. I've tried a neti pot in the past but it stings and only seems to leave me more congested. This product seems to really work. I've just used it for the first time but I feel incredibly relieved right now and wish someone had told me about this a long time ago. I think I'll be using this product for my allergies from now on because i'm fed up with the side effects of benadryl, pseudofed, and prescription strength meds which make me agitated or sleepy etc.
