I have multi-chemical sensitivities and can only use scent-free products. For some reason, a lot of the "free" detergents don't clean as well! Nellies Nuggets do the trick. They pack all the cleaning power in one easy to use packet; just toss one into your laundry and you'll get results without having to add extra baking soda or borax (with normal laundry exceptions that would need pre-treatment such as car-grease). The clothes come out fresh and clean, load after load, month after month. This product is easy to use and very cost effective. It's light-weight: packets instead of liquid. I've never had a problem with the packets breaking down before use - and never had a problem with the packets not breaking down in the laundry load. I've been 100% satisfied with this item brand for over year and highly recommend it. I bought the metal box container once and now by the less-expensive bagged refills and refill my handy metal box.

Bottom line folks? Be kind to your fellow man! I am almost home bound due to the (terrible?!) heavy scents the industry is telling us we all need. These are toxic and not even legal in some countries... When you all wear them a couple million of us cannot be around you and we have to quit our jobs and stay home. Did you know that?

These nuggets are easy to use, especially if you are on the road, but to be honest, I did not notice a difference in how my clothes felt after the wash. As for quality wash...it didn't do much! And after a while the nuggets dry out so they become hard to dissolve in the wash and I have had to remove almost half nuggets from my laundry. I'll stick with the Purex 3-in-1 laundry sheets...my clothes smell good afterwards too.

I tried these, they are convenient, economic, and work; so I sent some off to college with my daughter. She thought they were one of my better ideas, a great compliment from a teenager. The nuggets are incredibly easy to use, no thinking required, and the container stays in her laundry hamper,no spills, is carried down to the laundry room with the dirty and back up with the clean, no worries. One container lasts the whole year for a girl. (Probably longer for a guy!)

The nuggets are great--far better than most other "all natural" laundry soaps I have bought. they actually do a great job cleaning even though they come in a tiny package. My boyfriend and I both have awful allergies to many soaps and fragrances and these don't set us off at all.

But that tin they come in is kind of cheaply made. The lid is plastic , the clasp is shoddy, and I give it 6 months tops. Stick with the bigger, cheaper refill tub.

What a fabulous product! As I am participating in the care and feeding of my favorite college student (which includes "Got any Money, Mom?), I am delighted to have found these laundry nuggets. My college student has a room that is more suitable for one mouse than two freshmen, so the great container that holds 50 portions of laundry detergent is a godsend. The kid need only grab a one of these little pellets per machine load when the grunge laden clothes need some sort of attention because there isn't anything clean in the wardrobe (or on the floor... or on other pieces of furniture) The clothes get as clean as if I had spent hours of loving care getting them that way, and even though I'm not there to rinse twice, they aren't left with a cheap perfume smell or slimy feel. As soon as I use up my store of detergent, I think I'll make a switch myself!

These little packages pack a powerful punch! I am about all thing green, but I want them to be effective as well and this product is both! Whites are whiter and no residues like other detergents can leave behind--it even cleans the deoderant residue in the armpits of my husband's shirts, no small feat! I love these: small, convenient, and they work!

Nellie's nuggets are tiny, but don't be wary of their small size. They're AWESOME! I hated lugging bottles of detergent to the Laundromat, and these tablets are tiny and light. They have NO SMELL (Nellie says you wash your clothes to get the smell OUT!), and dissolve instantly when you drop them in water. My clothes are clean, and better yet, my super-sensitive skin hasn't noticed any change in detergents! The only problem I had was when I received the Nuggets; several had exploded/tore open during transit. They bounce around in the container, so I gave it 4 stars. Enjoy!

Nellie's Laundry Nuggets are fantastic! I have an HE washer and these work very well. I washed a load of stinky dog beds and they came out beautifully clean and fresh... not perfume-y, just scentless; and as Nellie says, "You wash clothes to get the smells OUT!" So true, Nellie! I also LOVE the adorable tin box the nuggets come in. And you can use it as a bank. The Nellie's Dryer balls are also wonderful. Think of all the packaging you can save by using these two products.
