This powder reminds me of the days when I was an avid whey protein drinker. The protein after taste in this product is a bit too uncomfortable to me. Dissolving it in water or a drink with vitamin c is not enough. I plan on adding this to soy or almond milk and consume it as a protein shake. I tried allowing the protein to settle completely after blending it in the blender. I just wait 30 minutes for the drink to become clear again. The taste isn't as bad at that point but protein shakes are a better way to drink this, at least for me. In comparison to the pills, the pills are much more tolerable and easier to get out of the way.

This is the best product to take for "beauty from within". It works! Fast! Within 2.5 weeks I noticed my skin was much more elastic and my frown lines, maile lines, chest lines all disappeared. Neocell Super Collagen is amazing! I first took it when mentioned on an Oprah show two years ago..and I've been taking it ever since. Improves skin, nails, and hair...plus increases flexibilty and knocks out joint pain. And provides a deep night's sleep. Just take with any vitamin C source, like oj or a c tablet.

I don't understand this item. This site tells you NOT to mix it with orange juice because of its high vitamin C content, but the instructions tell you to mix it with water or orange juice!? Also, the label reads as having 0% collagen and doesn't tell you what else it may be composted of.

I'm not sure what the other reviewer expects from powdered collagen. I mix it with water and drink it every morning. It doesn't taste great (because again, it's powdered collagen, not hot chocolate), but it doesn't taste any worse than than the fiber supplements you mix with beverages. If the taste bothers you, you can certainly mix it with something other than water. Most importantly, it works. I've taken it every day for about 5 or 6 months and my skin is firmer, my hair is shiny, and my nails are hard. I've had to trim my nails every week and my hair every two weeks because they both grow so fast. To me, the results are worth it. I would still use this product, even if it tasted as bad as the other reviewer claims. (Which it doesn't).

I just started taking this for bone and joint strength and don't know yet if it works. But the taste and smell are very unpleasant., similar to the smell of overheated hair. Perhaps the capsule form is more palatable.
As a dietary supplement, dissolve one scoop of Super Collagen™ Dietary Supplement with one spoon of water or orange juice. Then add 6-8 ounces more liquid, and stir vigorously. For better results, use a blender. For optimum nutritional results, drink as suggested on an empty stomach and wait 30 minutes before eating.
