It works great to disinfect, relieve pain, and best of all, it goes beyond and really helps with scarring. I go through a tube a year - absolutely love it!! VS Most Liked Negative Review can't judge a book by this one... Each time I use this product, I develop a terrible raised, itchy, burny, painful rash around area use. My son recommended that I get the "plus" and I'm so glad he did. It helps numb the area and really aids in healing quickly. I prefer the cream over the ointment. This size is perfect as I have really started checking "use by" dates on medical items. Do like this product better than other Brand names on the market.

It was starting to scab and get tight after about 2 days of using regular neosporin, so i got this one with pain releif and it WORKS! no more pain or tightness. I should also mention I got the generic version so this one might work even better!
