I've been using Neova Ti-Silc faithfully for serveral years and have no complaints until now. I agree with the other writer -- I am appalled at the jump in price. Also, the new dispenser does not allow me to use the exact amount I need. I have recommended the product to friends before, but I'm doubt that I will do so again because of these things.

This is a horrible replacement for the original Neova Procyte Ti-Silc. I used that product for many years, and even described finding it as a life-changing experience: finally a sunscreen that smelled good, didn't run into my eyes, and made my skin look great. My dermatologist enthusiastically approved of it. Why would they discontinue that great product and replace it with this awful one? Perhaps because this one costs about 2.5 times as much? I wouldn't even mind paying a bit more if it was truly an improved product--but it's awful!! We should mount a campaign to get someone else to manufacture the old Ti-Silc!!

I use this product every morning. Easy to use, skin left smooth, soft. Tint is very slight, disappears. Great product! I'm getting ready to order my 3rd bottle.

HORRIBLE CONTAINER! Much better product when it was Tye Silc and the container was much nicer.
There is much waste in container when the product is used, and new formula doesn't have the same dewy pink color and this new formula is much dryer.

Do not like this product. It replaces Ti-silc which I loved. It had much better coverage and was a great make up base. Do not like this new one and will not use again. Bring back old version of Ti Silc. Much better product. This new one is a much lighter and thinner coverage.

Comments about Neova DNA Damage Control Silc Sheer, SPF 40, 2.5 fl oz:

I have been through several rounds of skin cancer treatment which has left my skin hypersensitive to most sunscreen products. Neova is the only product I can wear all day without a reaction. Additonally the product does not sting my eyes the way that the other sunscreens have in the past. I use it with my powder foundation and blend the two together. I have not found the dispenser is wasteful but as my Doctor remindes me, everyone should apply the sunscreen like you are at the beach. Too many women are not using enough for it to be effective. Believe me, I learned the hard way. It is a little pricey but worth every penny.

I love this product: offers sun protection with a slight tint and nice dewy finish. Am appalled that 4 oz. bottle is now 2.5 oz and costs more (on sale)--a whopping 315 percent increase. Any suggestions for an equivalent product without the high cost?

Great mineral sunscreen! Tinted, so does not go on white. Provides great coverage. I use one pump which covers face and neck. Another 1/2 pump for decolette.
This sunscreen is meant for face only, not entire body.

My Derm recommeneded this product for my cancer prone skin. A tiny bottle was [$]. Expensive but great if it works. But each time I pump the dispenser three to four times the amount I need shoots out. This stuff is just way to expensive to be so wasteful. Makes it a very poor value. The sunscreen may be great but I know I won't buy it again unless they redesign the package
