I have oily skin but this works great at night and doesn't make me break out, very moisturizing without feeling greasy. Has an 'old lady' smell to it, but isn't strong enough to make me stop using it.

I actually wear this as a day cream. It is light, absorbs quickly and keeps your skin moisturized without feeling greasy.

Cream is very thin and dries out easily. Doesn't seem to last on skin more than a few seconds. No skin improvement. Sorry I bought it.

I actually used this for many years because I really like and trust the Neutrogena brand and have many of their products that I love. After going through about a dozen jars of this stuff I finally decided to switch to something else because I found that it just didn't do anything for my dry skin. I agree with one of the reviewers who said that this stuff just sits on top of your skin and doesn't really get absorbed into it. As soon as you wash your face in the morning, it comes right off and your skin feels dry and tight all over again. The only reason I continued using this product for so many years is that it is very lightweight and doesn't break me out. I'm currently using Olay's Nourishing Night Cream and I loooove it. If you're looking for a new night cream, consider trying that one instead--it's more effective and a bit cheaper.

I use this every night. I tried a different brand for a while that I found on sale, but it doesn't compare. This leaves my skin feeling smoother and looking more even. After using this for a few weeks, I feel like I can more readily go without makeup because my skin looks so much better.

This is a great inexpensive moisturizer which has produced significant positive changes to my skin. The moisture level has increased which has decreased the appearance of my facial lines. I have tried many products, including several expensive brands, for aging skin/fine lines and none have been as effective as this one.

I was using Neutrogena Light Night Cream this past winter. It was not my idea of a "light" cream - it was terrific for the winter, dense, deeply moisturizing, but heavy. I switched to Neutrogena Ageless Essentials this month. And I'm glad I did. It's terrific for my summer face - not heavy, lightly moisturizing, not greasy. I am very happy with this for the summer. I have combination skin which is much more oily in the summer, so this is a perfect match for May to September.

I go back and forth using $$ and not so $$ creams. I really feel I should not have to pay big bucks to get effective quality creams. My lastest try was this product. I have combination skin, to the extreme (oily T-zone and dry cheeks). This cream is non-greasy, which is great. However, after using this cream for 4 weeks, my cheeks progessively got dryer and dryer and started to peel. I don't think it's being abrasive or irritating, it just doesn't seem to soak in to the skin...thus, no moisture is getting in or retained. When I wash my face in the morning, the cream slips right off (it's not oil, it feels different if you get what I mean). Not good.
