My friend who is a dermatologist recommended using a product with Salicylic acid in it and so far this is the best one I found. Other products leave a film on your skin that I don't like. When you first start using it, it may be a little drying to your skin, but your skin will adjust over time. The first time I ever used it those chunky microbeads wouldn't come off my face after washing it twice and I used this product for a month and it didn't do anything for my blackheads. In conclusion I also brought the toner and mask in the blackhead eliminating line and used all three of these items in a month and no results. Disappointed never brought again. I like Clearasil Blackhead Control Scrub better try that instead. I like the fact that it has chunky microbeads and scrubs well, some people like small beads, if you do then keep in mind that this one has bigger ones. I LOVE how it smells as well. My skin feels softer and smoother. I do not see that many changes with the blackbeads yet though (just a little bit smalled pores). It cleans, softens and has 2 differnt typs of exfoliating beads, which aren't too harsh-they are smooth and round. I don't have a lot of blackhead so can't say much about that- I just bought it to keep breakouts at bay. Works great for me, not sure I'll ever switch to anything else! The scrubbing beads are very rough, and my face was red after using it. I won't purchase it again.
