I started using it after going off the birth control pill since my face and back broke out horribly. If used daily, it works great to prevent future breakouts. I recommend using a body or face puff with it for even better results. Neutrogena also has a similar product without the exfoliating beads in it and it does not work as well, and smells horrible. This could have a better scent and have a better cap on it (the product is very hard to squeeze out). I would have given it 5 stars if it was not for those two factors. The smell is fine- it smells like a plain body soap which I don't mind. I like the grainy feel; it makes me feel like the product is really working on my skin. It is a little drying, but I have dry skin so I only use this product on my back where I have the most acne. But I use this product to keep my acne is check or to prevent it from showing up. I like this product because it's a gentle scrub so I feel like I am getting rid of dead skin cells when I use it. When you squeeze the product out to use, not a lot of it or an excess amount will come out all at once. You are able to control how much you need which is great. I have slight red bumps on my arms (I am fair, Irish background) and this is the only product that has minimized the appearance of the bumps, doesn't break out my skin (keeps it remarkably clear) and with the new bottle, is much easier to use. The smell is fine, but could be better which is why I tried switching to the grapefruit version, but I think I didn't realize how good this version really is until I stopped using it. Love it! Pros
