I use neutrogena for just about everything: daily moisturizer, daily cleanser, salicyclic acid acne face wash, makeup, foundation, lipgloss, etc. However, I was sorely disappointed with this product. In short, it does not do what it says. It doesn't clear the skin of even the most mild case of body acne. It doesn't smell especially good, or lather especially well, or last especially long. In this case, the brand name does not justify the price. I would love to recommend instead St Ives' Naturally Clear Green Tea body wash range ($5-$6 per bottle, same size and shape as the Neutrogena under review). Sadly, it seems to be discontinued or at least nearly impossible to find. Drugstore.com, can you find it and stock it?

I use this everyday, and it cleared up by bacne like a charm! I was worried it would dry out my skin because I have very dry skin to start with, but I've been using it for about six months and I've never had a problem with it! There's not much of a scent to it, but I'm okay with that because I'd rather have no scent than a bad scent.

I have been using this product since my teen years and I've been zit-free since then. I'm 38 yrs. old now, and I continue the use because the minute I stop using it, both my back and chest area start breaking out. Arrrrgh! I thought zits were only for teens but I guess that's a myth! I highly recommed the use of this product for anyone who is looking to get rid of their body zits. Also, I did not care so much for the one with scrubs because I noticed the scrubs actually make the zits break and the infection spreads, and it doesn't get any better, trust me! Who knows, there might be someone out there who actually thinks otherwise though. For me, I'm a very happy camper with this one, and I'm sticking with this one for a very long while.

I like this as a body wash and within a week, I noticed improvements to acne on my back. I tried to use it as an all-over wash (face) but wouldn't recommend that. It's a bit harsh for the face.

This stuff is the Best exfoliator! It smooths and softens your skin. It also removes dead skin EASILY. Perfect for people with dry rough skin! I love this. Not only that, it's cheap too!

This product can't compare with Phisoderm Anti-Blemish body wash. I used to use the Neutrogena formula but it's too drying and the smell is awful. A friend recommended the Phisoderm brand to me and I tried it for 2 weeks and got great result. Not only my breakout got cleared up but my skin actually got smoother and more supple. This is because Phisoderm adds high dose of aloe and chamomilla in its ingredients to help sooth and calm the skin so my skin is not dried out like when using Neutrogena. Definitely try out Phisoderm if you want to clear up break outs without drying out skin; it's also sold on this website.

I've been using this product for years. When I switch to a different product, acne comes back. And when I start to use Body Clear again, it goes away. I won't stray again.
