It's not that bad, but it kinda resembles a little that of the Toilet Duck Toilet Cleaner - though still quite bearable. As for the texture, it's sort of gel-like when its first squirted out (I use 1 pump each time), and gets just a bit foamy when it is lathered up. For me, I have normal-to-combination skin and it does what its supposed to do: cleanses effectively, removes all non-waterproof makeup, and skin feels smooth and oil-free even long after use. Mind you, I'm from a tropical country so to be oil-free for hours with just cleanser is something to brag! However, for my boyfriend it's a different story altogether. He has mildly sensitive skin, and whenever he uses it, he has complaints that although it does its job in cleansing well, the aftereffects is that it burns like crazy! It has severely dried out his skin every time he uses it, and made his skin flake and itch, especially the cheek and chin areas. Not nice! With this, I would say that this cleanser may be suitable for those with normal to very mild-acne skin. But, I definitely will NOT recommend it to people with super-sensitive skin! Try something else instead (like Cetaphil and Basic cleansers, they're just wonderful!). Overall, I would say this is an okay cleanser. Definitely not a HG and definitely no plans for repurchase, but I will still continue to use it till its finished. :) REVIEWS Reviewed by 77 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » Pros

Comments about Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser, For Normal to Oily Skin, 6 fl oz: Neutrogena is a famous and trusted brand and the customer has high expectations. This is a pleasant-smelling liquid soap that cleans the face, but I do not regard it as a 'deep' cleanser. I still regard it as a decent face cleanser. Pros

Comments about Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser, For Normal to Oily Skin, 6 fl oz: Had been using Clinique for years and decided there must be a lees expensive product that does the same thing. I've always had sensitive skin and every time I changed products, my skin would get irritated and blemishes would appear. No problems when I switched to this cleanser, I highly recommend it. Pros

Comments about Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser, For Normal to Oily Skin, 6 fl oz: the great thing is all the ingredients are noncomedogenic ,except for one ingredient ,it is " F D&C Red 40 " ,it clog pores .Can the company remove it ? We dont need colour for cleanser or any skincare product .I dont like when companies put colour to their products ,because it doesnt do anything but may not be good for our skin ,some pigments clog pores such as D & C Red # 17 ,D & C Red # 19 ,D & C Red # 21 ....This product is the only cleanser i found to have no comedogenic ingredient except for one pigment ingredient .Only without the pigment, it will be 100% " dont clog pore " and it will be the perfect cleanser . Comments about Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser, For Normal to Oily Skin, 6 fl oz: Use two times per day. In the morning when I shower to wash my face. Then again, before bedtime to cleanse my facial skin before applying my nightime moisturizer. Works great. I am 51 years of age and my skin looks very good for my age. Pros

Comments about Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser, For Normal to Oily Skin, 6 fl oz: I have oily, acne-prone skin and this cleanser definitely helped with cleaning off the excess oil and makeup without causing breakouts. However, I would not recommend this for anyone who has sensitive skin or skin prone to drying out (whether it's normal, combo, or dry). This cleanser will definitely strip your skin of moisture. For my oily skin, it was not drying at all. If my skin is a bit irritated from my occasionally harsh acne treatments, it makes it feel slightly tight and dry. Pros

Comments about Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser, For Normal to Oily Skin, 6 fl oz: I had mild discoloration spots caused by acne. It balanced out the color within a few weeks and it helps get rid of mild acne too. If you have sever acne I would use a stronger wash but if you just want a daily face freshener this is great :) Pros

Comments about Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser, For Normal to Oily Skin, 6 fl oz: Acne, sadly, is not just an issue for our adolescents/teens. I'm in my early 40's, & I've had acne issues off & on since my mid thirties. My doctor recommended Neutrogena Deep Clean & I've been using it regularly with outstanding results. I've always had combination skin that can be oily in some areas, yet also sensitive to most products. I use this with a buff puff to work the lather into my skin every evening before bed. It removes the makeup effectively (not the eyes, obviously) & consistently keeps the acne under control. The results? Clear, vibrant, healthy skin. |
