The first time I saw my aesthetician she asked what I used because my skin was soft and has very few blackheads. She was surprised to hear it was Extra Gentle Cleanser and not a high-end specialty product.

My t-zone is normal/slightly oily, and the rest is on the drier side. To get all makeup off, I wash my face twice and skip the toner completely. It's not needed!

I've used this product for at least 10 years and it's always been reliable. I have really sensitive skin prone to dry patches, especially in winter. This face wash is gentle and leaves my face feeling clean and not dried out. The only draw back is the that the pump always stops working when there is still a good amount of product in the bottle. It can be hard to find in some areas so I love that drugstore.com carries it!

I think this has the potential to be a good product, but not for all skin types. I used this cleanser because although my skin is very oily, it is also very sensitive, and dry around the eyes and cheek bones. The cleanser did a good job at moisturizing my dry areas and keeping the oily areas in check by not putting them into overdrive by stripping them of moisture. It made my skin feel very soft, and although you don't get the squeaky clean feeling that other cleansers provide, but unlike other cleansers, it doesn't over clean your skin, which people don't realize often worsens problematic skin conditions. The major downside of this product is that the formula contains oil. The oil caused my skin to become congested, giving me whiteouts the day after I used it. If I had realized it had oil in it, I probably would have never purchased it. I simply feel that oil is not a good ingredient for skincare products, although I could see how it could be useful for someone with very dry skin. However, if you are like me, and have sensitive but easily congested skin, you should pass on this product.

I have ULTRA sensitive skin and this is one of the few I can use. Doesn't dry out your skin.

My skin wavers between oily, sensitive and dry depending on the time of year but this soap works for all. It is light enough not to irritate but still cleans your skin.

I have used this product for about 10 years. I always find it at the best price. You only have to use a small amount. I am a country girl from Oklahoma and have not used soap on my skiin for 50 years. I am 66 years old and my skin looks at least 15 years younger. This is a quality product and I recommend it along with the moisturizer and the sun screen.
