I STARTED GETTING ACNE AT 13, AFTER YEARS OF STRUGGLING WITH ACNE I FINALLY SWITCHED TO NEUTROGENA. THEN I TRIED VARIOUS LINES OF NEUTROGENA SUCH AS THE RAPID CLEAR, OIL FREE, DEEP CLEAN, DEEP CLEAN INVIGORATING, ALL OF THEM DRIED MY SKIN OUT AND DIDN'T HELP MY ACNE AND BLEMISHES. I'M GLAD I FOUND THIS AWESOME CLEANSER. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS TWICE A DAY FOR A WEEK AND ALREADY HALF MY BLEMISHES ARE GONE! ITS AMAZING, IT DOESN'T DRY MY SKIN, NO ANNOYING FLAKING ON MY FACE, NO OIL BUILD UP, ITS GENTLE ENOUGH TO USE UP TO 4 TIMES A DAY. IT DOESN'T STING MY EYES WHICH IS ANOTHER GREAT THING ABOUT THIS. HERE IS ANOTHER THING I DO THOUGH, I HAVE A PRESCRIPTION FOR VIBRAMYCIN/DOXYCYCLINE. MY DERMATOLOGIST PRESCRIBED IT TO ME. I've used several Neutrogena products currently or in the past with generally good results. My primary problem with this product was that it did not rinse clean and left a filmy feeling on my face, which felt awful. It also did not remove make-up as well as it claimed (especially eye make-up). But I know that it is difficult for cleansers to do everything, especially with gentle cleansers & removing eye make-up. So, although I was disappointed that it did not remove make-up well, I really did not mind using another product to remove the rest of my eye make-up. Last significant issue was the bad smell. It was not horrible or disgusting, but it definitely smelled very unpleasant to me. Also, the smell lingered for awhile, which was unfortunate. (I will add that I can be sensitive to certain smells. This one did not produce a big reaction and did not cause me to feel ill, but it was unpleasant and irritating.) The main pro -- and reason for two stars -- is that it was a very gentle cleanser. It did not irritate my skin, and it also did not dry out any areas. Looking at the other reviews, it seems that I am in the minority with my negative experience, but I would not recommend this facial cleanser. If looking for a sensitive skin facial cleanser, I would suggest Purpose liquid facial cleanser over this product. Comments about Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser, 6.7 fl oz: I LOVE this soap. I stumbled upon it because I was looking for a cheaper soap to remove make-up. I'm one of those people that sleeps in it because I don't want to go through the trouble of removing make-up and THEN washing my face before bed. Well this cuts down all of the hassle!! And it SERIOUSLY removes make-up. In fact I will go all day with eyeliner, eyeshadow and waterproof mascara on, come home for the night, not use cold cream or make-up remover, wash my face with this stuff and it takes away everything. Foundation is no match for this soap as well. I'm not so concerned with smell, people need to realize this isn't a fruity, impractical novelty product it does what it says it's going to and it smells like a regular cleanser. I don't know how or why anyone would dislike this facial wash. It's incredible and I am sold on it!

It smells like Tilex, it's very drying and I don't see where it helps remove makeup at all, Huge FAIL for Neutrogena. In the trash it goes.

Best Uses Comments about Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser, 6.7 fl oz: I bought this cleanser for my kids and decided to try it out first to see if it was gentle enough for them. It burned my face off! As a side note, I have used their other facial cleansers for years. This particular wash was bad news. I do like the Neutrogena Ultra Gentle facial cleanser for my kids - it is what is says it is.
