This is the best I have ever used. The tint is perfect. Moisturizers very well. A little blush and I am ready to go. I am a golfer and love the color and the SPF at the same time.

Used it on vacation in Florida, as sunscreen and moisturizer. Has slight order to it that really did not appeal to me. But worked well as sunscreen and for moisture. Tint is not much, which is either a good thing if light skinned, but...not if you want something darker.

This is my favorite foundation because it moisturizes and protects the skin from harmful sun rays and provides all the moisturizing tint I need from a good product. I am an on the go person. What I do not like is the NEW bottle container that provides the same amount of product but leaves a residual around the bottle cap area of product OOH Gross,I have to pick that off...bacteria? Could we go back to the older bottle that was replaced. I look everywhere for the prized older bottle. I have had to purchase a different but preferred Neutrogena product just to keep a bacteria free container but too face drying of a product (without knowing it),both having the desired SPF amount and the Neutrogena product purchased needs more moisturizer added to it. I consider both Neutrogena products to be very good products. I DO PREFER AND CONSIDER THE OLDER NEUTROGENA SPF LIGHT TINT CONTAINER TO BE OF BETTER QUALITY. BRING IT BACK. I can't find it anywhere I have shopped. Thank you for having a place experienced customers can comment. If I owned Neutrogena and was in the cosmetic/sunscreen business I would welcome pros and cons on my facial products of what is good and bad and of what works and what doesn't and consider it to be a constructive critique. THANKS!

Just to add to my last review, this is not even the consistancy of a moisturizer. It's somewhat drying and to use the amount you would need (from a normal moisturizer) would leave your skin way too dark! You can only use a little at a time, which is not what you want from a moisturizer!

I'm a big fan of Neutrogena products and always use their moisturizers. Since I'm getting older and trying to stay out of the sun I thought I would try this since it is a moisturizer with a tint. Big mistake! I was looking for something to go under my make-up after I shower and the instant I put this on it clogged my pours and I couldn't stop sweating! It was awful, I ran an hour late for a party because the reaction to this moisturizer was so bad! The tint is ok, but definitely too dark if you have fair skin. There is no way I can use this again EVER. So it's just money down the drain. I really can't believe it got such good reviews. I'm going back to my usual Neutrogena moisturizer :(

This works as well as the $50 BB out there! Even better, when you consider the price point.
Other than that, works very well, and over time, does brighten my skin and improve the texture.

I discovered Neutrogena Healthy Defense (light tint) by accident and have used it for 10 years. I use it every day after washing and exfoliating my face and the results are consistently amazing. It greatly improves my skin color and tone and adds brightness to my complexion like nothing else. The sun protection is an added bonus, of course, but not my main reason for using it. [@] inexplicably stopped carrying it last spring and I tried others (with unhappy results) and am now VERY pleased to find it on drugstore.com.

I have used Neutrogena mosturizer for many years. I really appreciate the sunscreen, lack of fragrance and non-greasy feel. I finally tried the tinted lotion, just to see. It is much less than a foundation and does come off on the cloth when cleaning. So while it moisturizes as well as the non tinted, I won't buy again because it doesn't add enough to my look to make up for the addition to laundry.

I use it in the morning when I put on make up. No need to use foundation. It gives my skin a nice glow which is particularly wonderful in the winter. The tint is extremely light. I also like that it has sunscreen.
I had been told at my local drugstore that it had been discontinued and was struggling to find a tinted moisturizer with which I was equally happy. Couldn't. Its a tough act to follow. By accident I came across it at Drugstore.com and was delighted to be able to get it again. Neutrogena, please keep making this moisturizer.
