The moisturizer has some suncscreen in it, but I don't think it really has enough to seriously protect against sun damage. It is meant as a compromise between a moisturizer and a sunscreen, I think, but if you really need a sunscreen you are better off using a product that really provides lots of coverage. And if you don't need a sunscreen, why expose yourself to unnecessary chemicals?

I am rather sorry I bought this, and I wouldn't do it again.

I decided to try this mosturizer because I did not the the way my usual one felt on my skin. I have used Nuetrogena for years, but had never tried this one before. While it does protect my face from the sun, and goes on smoothly, it does not asorb well and leaves a white film on my skin, which makes me look even paler than normal. This may not be a problem for someone who uses foundation over it, but didn't work well for me.

I almost never review items, but WOW was this moisturizer not for me. Since I have oily skin, I find it important to have a good moisturizer so that my skin doesn't dry out and overproduce oil later. But this feels so greasy on my face! It feels like I'm wearing only greasy sunscreen. I've been using this for about two weeks now and my face has been constantly breaking out too. At first, I thought it was just my diet, but when I went back to my old moisturizer and my skin looked much better. Also, as other reviewers have pointed out, if this gets anywhere near your eyes, it will sting.

I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it's probably not for people like me with oily skin who need more of a water or gel-based moisturizer. And note: I also have very sensitive skin, so that might have played a role too. So if you're one of those people, definitely pass on this. I'll stick to my regular moisturizer with the spray Neutrogena sunscreen on top.

I am a longtime wearer of Estee Lauder Daywear cream and decided to try a different product out for a SPF moisturizer. I've tried this product for 5 days now and found that this moisturizer manages to make its way to my eyes and cause them to hurt and tear, as a few other reviewers have noted. This mainly happens when I close my eyes on the commute home to rest, stinging my eyes when I open afterwards. Or when rubbing my eyes when they itch, causes them to hurt and tear up from the moisturizer making its way into my eyes. This is happened several days in a row, and I've never had this experience with Daywear, so cannot give this a good review, and will not be wearing this again.

I loved that it had SPF 50 and I felt relieved being protected from long term exposure to UV rays. However I noticed I started breaking out after using this product. I rarely get acne and I was sad to start getting acne after the use of this product. I continued to use this product to rule out of it was due to the initial response to the product. I continued to use it for a couple months and continued to break out so I switched back to my daily face moisturizer with SPF 15 instead.

A daily moisturizer I use every day. It's gentle to my skin and gives me the protection from the sun. I have tried to use other moisturizers but now compare to the benefits of this one.
