I have very sensitive skin, and when a similarly afflicted friend recommended this, I tried it, and it is my new Holy Grail. I used to have two types of sunscreens---the high spf ones that were greasy and caked up for serious outdoors activities, and much lower ones for every day wear with makeup. This does both!

Good product for sun protection (50 SPF). I would prefer to have it sold in a jar instead of a tube. Also, it's not a creamy moisturizer with high SPF as I had hoped, it has more of a greasy feel and leaves my face looking shiny. The smell isn't very pleasant either.

I use this product morning and evening after cleansing my face. It feels soothing and wonderful. It is easy to apply and feels clean and non-oily. My Rosacea is feeling happier. It is wonderful that the sunscreen of SPF 50 is included with the moisturizing benefits. The tube is small and easy to travel with. It easily fits in your purse or jacket pocket.

Loved this product so much that I've used 3 whole tubes of it! Great for under make-up and just keeping your skin protected My dermatologist father says the healthy defense formula with helioplex will offer better protection so I'm giving that one a try.

I'm fair-skinned and spend a lot of time in the sun doing sports and activities. This is the first moisturizer sunscreen I have found that doesn't sting my eyes, doesn't turn my skin white, and absorbs nicely - no gooky residue. I use it every day as my morning moisturizer, to make sure my face is always protected from the sun (spf 50). I also use it as a sunscreen on my hands and arms.

This one is great! Everything made my skin break out therefore I never used a moisturizer just a daily sunprotection. Now I am in my 40's and my skin is too dry so I have to use a daily moisturizer. I was not happy with many of the Neutrogena sunscreens for the face but this one has naturally sourced ingredients and it did not make my skin break out. The white film does not bother me as long as I really spread it out well on my face; it just creates a (welcome) glow and the 50SPF is what I need in sunny CA

Finally a sunscreen that uses titanium dioxide and zinc only, I can't stand all the other unnatural sunscreen ingredients, it makes my skin look horrible. Now this combo ingredient somehow seems to work really nice on my dry blotchy skin. This so called white film is evening out my skin tone, creates a soft and glowing look and I can easily wear my make up over it. I desperately need a daily moisturizer for my dry spots and sensitive skin. This sunscreen protects really well for my daily activities and it also moisturizes without causing any break outs.

I think this is a good daily moisturizer. Howerver, I agree with others. Because the SPF is naturally sourced, it leaves a slight white layer on your skin. It's not super noticeable if you are fair skinned (like me). But extra whiteness seems to interfere with my makeup. So I generally wear this moisturizer only when I am not putting on any makeup.

I bought this to use on a cruise. It worked well as a moisturizer and sunscreen. It does leave a white cast to your face. It wasn't a big deal for me because I'm pale and I used powder on top. My husband also used it for sun protection and he did look like a ghost.

It protects me from the Sun, is good for my sensitive skin, and it makes my skin look shining and radiant. I actually like the whilte film, the zinc effect. It makes my skin look a lot more even toned, and covers up the dark spots. I wear it like a foundation, even in the eveving if I want my skin look radiant. I have to say I get a lot of compliment for my skin when I wear this one, and I am convinced it is the even tone and shining/radiant effect.

I normally use the Healthy Defense SPF 45 moisturizer with helioplex; don't know if this "purescreen" version is supposed to replace it, but I hope not.
The "purescreen" version comes out thin and seems to absorb quickly, but it leaves a discernible white "tint" to my skin, whereas the Helioplex version sank right in.
It's long-lasting, but I definitely prefer the Helioplex version - it's long-lasting AND doesn't make me look like I have pancake makeup on.
Smooth liberally on face, neck and other exposed areas every morning after cleansing. Reapply if excess perspiration or product wear occurs. Works well alone, under make-up, or over a serum.
