I wanted to use this as a regular daily mascara and while I liked how I looked immediately after applying, in the end it was just too messy to keep using. Putting it on often involved getting mascara everywhere, then my lashes would stay sticky for quite awhile, and to top things off, I constantly got black smudges under my eyes throughout the day. Nothing like checking yourself in the mirror at lunch and discovering gray shadows under your eyes! Yikes. I tried applying less, but still ended up with smudges and flakes no matter what. Not worth it.

Too bad this mascara only got one star from the first review. The problem here is more the color. Carbon black creates raccoon looking eyes in no time. I highly recommend the mascara Neutrogena color Black 2. This mascara lasts all day long and creates beautiful long lashes. It doesn't leak and is easy to remove at night.

I switched to this product after Neutrogena discontinued their weightless, wax-free mascara, and I was pretty disappointed. This mascara attaches to your lashes in thick clumps, and you need an eyelash comb to even it out. The process of applying this mascara takes too long in the morning. By the end of my day, I have smudges underneath my eyes, and yet it is difficult to remove all traces of it. I do not recommend this product.
