I had already tried and disliked the Neutrogena acne system, so it wasn't an option. It does the bare necesity. I haven't noticed a difference on my wrinkles near my eyes, mouth and forehead (and I am only 22, so I thought they might just go away using an anti-wrinkle this early on). I haven't noticed a difference in my acne, but I suppose it is preventing it from getting worse. My skin is notceably oily when I wake up and by lunch time. By mid day I am ready to wash my face again but my schedule doesn't allow it. For a bottom line- it kept my face mosturized, but I did not feel like it improved my situation for claiming 'anti-wrinkle, anti-blemish'. When I was 20, I occasionally got blemishes, but when I added this product to my daily routine (which was only washing with the Neutrogena Acne Wash), it completely cleared up my skin. So, 17 years later, I'm still using this product. Works wonderfully on my oily skin. I use it twice a day, as soon as I wash my face or get out of the shower, so it soaks in really nicely. Get this product, and get it from here, as it's difficult to find other place! You won't be disappointed! Pros

This is the only product I have found that provides the moisture and prevents breakouts. When I use something else the breakout issue returns. Even at age 60 this is still a problem. For what it's worth, I am only using the product at night because of the retinol, although I believe the packaging says you can use it in the morning as well with a sunscreen product. Pros

I rarely break out anymore, and when I do it goes away fairly quickly. I don't think I would wear this under makeup because it is a little on the heavy side and I'm not sure the makeup would stay on the face as well. I use another Neutrogena product with salicylic acid in it for makeup. Pros

However, after a year or so I started breaking out. So, I ended up switching to the Neutrogena cleanser (in hope of clearing out my acne). I like to use the same brand moisturizer/cream/lotion as my cleanser, as I don't like to mix too many products from too many brands in my daily routine. Through about 5 weeks use of Neutrogena products I learned that this brand works for me. As for this product, I don't see a whole lot of visible results, but I do notice that my skin is soft and best of all it's not greasy. I will continue to explore and use this brand until I break out again. Pros

However, ever since using this in conjunction with the cetaphil gentle cleanser I haven't been breaking out...AT ALL. I used to have chronic pimples all over the chin and sometimes cheeks and now I don't break out at all. It's a plus that this also works to help with wrinkles although I'm not sure how effective it is for that since I don't have too many wrinkles just yet for it to show improvement.
