I use this every night after cleansing and toning. It is recommended by Paula Bougon @ Beautipedia, as definitely one of the better retinol products at the drugstore. My skin is sensitive, and this product makes my skin feel soft and fresh.

Retinol is really helpful in controlling my acne-prone skin. This night cream + retinol really streamlines my night regimen - I cleanse, put on the cream and bada bing I'm done! First week, I noticed some clogged pores - could just be my skin adjusting to the new product and/or my skin purging. Still soldiered on with using the product. Now, at two weeks, my skin is smoother, clearer, more even-toned, and my cheeks got their natural flush back. Hurray!!! I'll definitely continue using this!

So far this has been a great product. I am approaching my 30s and have fair skin that tans well, is combo, acne prone, pores the size of craters, and is sensitive. So, although I've taken decent care of my skin in the past, I could have been nicer :) and am on a rampage to help/ward off wrinkles, skin damage, and help to clear my skin. So far this product has absolutely done that. I can have tightness in my cheeks and towards my jawline, and this moisturizer doesn't make my face feel even remotely tight when I smile. I had a nice glow, and it seemed to firm up my skin a bit which made my fine/dehydration lines go away. I used the Intensives formula a few years ago and I broke out like crazy although I don't know that I really understood how retinoids work like I do today (go slow with them!). I am also rotating this with AHAs (Olay Regenerist Night Resurfacing...guestimate on the boards at 8% glycolic and once a week Alpha Hydrox Souffle 12%) to rev up the exfoliation process. My esthetician says I'm doing everything right!

I need a little more time with this product to say that I really love it and can't live without it. It is good. I do think the lines around my eyes are a little less noticable. That was my goal. I like it so far. Just want to see what it is fully capable of before I rave about it.

I have sensitive, oily skin with large pores. I have fine lines and very acne prone. most products out there for sensitive skin or fine lines is too oily, for oily or acne prone skin is too harsh. This product is perfect! I was very skeptical when I bought it because I've tried numerous products from department stores, drug stores, specialty stores and nothing worked well. I applied the cream at night and in the morning, my skin texture was much smoother and my acne was much smaller. I was very surprised. I have used Retin-a in the past. the result from this cream was way better than Retin-a and less irritating. I am using this twice a day. I do apply neutrogena dry touch sunblock over this in the daytime. My pores are the same size, no miracle cream can make them smaller due to genetics. This product had been the best I have tried and I hope Neutrogena never discontinue. I would be devastated!

I have suffered from dark spots for a long time now and was pleasantly surprised with the skin brightening result of this cream. I put it on at night and the next day my skin looks so soft and smooth. Since I live in a area with hot summers I do not want to use retinol during the day so I use a moisturizing SPF instead. In the beginning I experienced a mild itch and tingling but that went away and overtime the results for my 43 year old damaged skin have been awesome. No more dark spots and my skin looks healhty and younger. I have tried several intense versions but all that did was dry out my skin whereas this cream also moisturizes at night. It's a keeper!

Great price for retinol! (though it's less expensive at Fred Meyer) Good things to know about using retinol:

- it can take several weeks for your skin to adjust to using it (up to 6 weeks of irritation. this is often why women discontinue use)
- it can be a little drying (wait 10 minutes after applying and then use some regular moisturizer)
- it's good for acne and wrinkles (which is great for me, because i still have some acne problems but am starting to notice wrinkles, too!)
- it should NOT be used if you're pregnant (this product may not be concentrated enough to warrant a warning, but i wouldn't risk it. i'm unsure about use during breastfeeding)

i hope this helps everyone enjoy this product as much as my mom (early 50's) and i (mid 20's) both do!

I bought this cream because I trusted the brand. As directed on the box, I used at night as it was directed. After the first application, the following morning I woke up to find my face extremely dehydrated. After noticing this, I followed again the directions on the box and it suggested that if any strange unwanted occurrences or effects were to occur, it was recommended to applicate on a fixed period of time, one day yes, one day no. After 2 weeks, my skin was dehydrated more than ever and felt like my had sunburn and my wrinkles were more marked than ever before. It was until that I stopped using it and after 1 week, I still feel the effects from the cream. Further into this brand, I should also inform that I was also using the day version of this cream and exact same results were concluded, dehydration, stiffness, "sunburn" sensation and worsened my wrinkles. I would definitely NOT recommend it to a friend at ALL.

This is the best retinol product I've ever tried. BTW, It beats the Neutrogena Ageless Intensives retinol products hands down and is cheaper, too. I have used it for years at bedtime. This keeps the fine wrinkling completely at bay. When my face is at rest without expression, there are NO wrinkles around my eyes and I'm 48. At night, I wash, wait about 5 minutes for face to completely dry, and apply a layer of this and rub it in all over, even around eyes. I sometimes apply a little extra to nasolabial area, outer corners of eyes, and forehead. I use it every night and am so glad that Neutrogena and Drugstore.com still make this product available! THANKS!
