I was so excited about the helioplex and hopeful it'd be a product I'd love! I used this is in the summer for a few months, since all the facial sunscreens break me out pretty bad (yes, I've tried a whole heap of them) and make my face super oily (and then I have to apply make up on top, YUCK!). Well this one didn't make my skin oily, felt very hydrating and it had fairly decent coverage, BUT it did cause breakouts, does not blend very well at all, it runs out extremely quickly, and it looked unnatural if I followed up with some powder. I used it when I went camping, so that way I had an excuse to apply coverage, with it being SPF 50 and all, but the campsite bathroom had the worse mirrors & horrible lighting and it took me FOREVER to apply it bc it kept leaving streaks everywhere. :-/ Oh and if you sweat within an hr of application, it will start coming off & streaking more. Not to mention, I'm not the biggest fan of using face sponges, they just harbor bacteria, and if you're prone to breakouts like me, it's a nightmare!

I can see how this might be a great product for some folks (particularly older), it just wasn't really the best fit for my needs. I still have 2 unopened containers, so I might give this a try one more time this coming summer, just to be sure.
