I started using this about a week or so ago after hearing great reviews and needing to try something else for my daily "foundation." I was using a mineral makeup for a few months during the summer and now that the colder weather is coming I've realized it's really drying out my skin...plus I didn't think about the fact that I'm allergic to nickel and minerals have these metals in it. I have fair acne prone skin that goes from oily to dry and always looking for help in the anti-aging aspect. I don't have perfect skin, but I try to wear minimal makeup to work to try to keep it pimple-free and not cake on products. It took quite a few pumps for the product to start coming out consistently, but one seems to do. It looked too dark when I dab it on to blend in, but evens out nicely. The moisturizer didn't break me out, but sort of had a drying/stinging effect when I first started using it, most likely from the retinol or my reaction to the mineral makeup. I have also started using AHAs at night so it may have been in conjunction with that. I took a few days off and tried again, same effect but was less noticeable. The last time I used it I didn't have any irritation feeling at all. Going into the wintertime my skin is drier so I have been using a moisturizer underneath. It doesn't really "conceal" trouble spots but gives your face a more uniform tone/texture with a touch of sheen. If you're trying to cover up blemishes and very uneven pigment, this will not do it for you. It's your face, enhanced just like the label says. Adding powder does help add more coverage. I look forward to seeing what the retinol will so. Good product!

This is not a product for people who need heavy coverage for blemishes, or discoloration. This product is great as a long lasting, stay-on foundation that blends easily, and has a nice matte finish with no greasy breakthrough during the day! The moisture/retinol.SPF is a great combination for outside athletics, and this product has not run on my face with perspiration!

I've used several tinted moisturizers with great success so when I read the reviews for this product I decided to try it.
Horrible! Unlike other products I've used, it didn't cover anything. But worst of all, it made my face look so greasy and shiny, it made my complexion look worse than if I had nothing on. After trying it for 2 days, I threw it away. Will definitely go back to the products I've had success with.

A long lasting, value-priced product. The only downside is not quite enough moisturizer for my combination skin. I have to use a moisturizing cleanser first, and apply right after my shower. But once on, it really looks natural, and does improve my skin's texture. Product appears much darker in the bottle than it really is on the skin.

I never tried this before but I love most Neutrogena products and this didn't dissappoint me. I'm 66 yrs. of age and my friends noticed what a difference it made.

I love this stuff! I wear it as foundation and set it with loose powder or the Neutrogena mineral powder. It is semi-sheer, but more coverage than most tinted moisturizers. The only complaint I have is that it is not water resistant, so if you get splashed in the face, it turns white like you have lotion on- until it dries again. Not the best for wearing around a pool or the beach, but great for work and every day. This color works best for me as a light-skinned Hispanic. The next color darker is a bit too dark for me, but because it is sheer, even if you don't get a perfect match it still looks good.

WOW, this is the best foundation i ever used, it doesn't make my skin shiny, i feel like i have nothing on my face, its really light texture,doesn't leave marks on your clothes and the SPF 20 is a big plus. I wash my face and all i need to do is put the Neutrogena Foundation, no moisturizers,no other SPF lotions. This is the best, i recommend it to everyone.

I agree that it should not be considered a 'tan' color. I have fairly light to medium skin, and it blended right in. Great price, good alternative to regular foundation.
