When I first started using this mascara, I loved it because it made my lashes voluminous and was supposedly healthy for them too; but after a few days, I started noticing it was smudging above and underneath my eyes. Now it has been 95+ degrees here in GA, but other mascaras have not smudged so easily. Disappointed. Trying Almay One-Coat and will write a review on that one, after using it for a week or two. ( :

I really like what this does for my lashes. Unfortunately it makes my eyes water and itch (which makes the product run). I wish they didn't have fragrance in this product as I know that is the cuprit. This is a total deal breaker for me. I mean who cares what mascara smells like? I really wish they'd cut this ingredient as I really like it otherwise.

I used to only use Chanel mascara, but tried this when I saw it on sale one day and I like Neutrogena products in general.

Good volume, best drug store brand I've ever used.

I was not impressed with this mascara. The brush is a little to large, which makes it kind of hard to get all of your lashes. It also flaked quite a bit and was a little clumpy.

I may have gotten an old one, but this product, brand new out of the package, is dry as a bone, as if it were old. i can't separate my lashes and it smells terrible. The brush is so big that I can't apply it without getting it on my nose. The color is fine, and removing is pretty easy.

This mascara goes on so smoothly and its really buildable. You can do one or two coats to look more natural, or you can layer it on to get thicker, more dramatic lashes. And what i love most is that it has conditioning ingredients (like olive oil) so you know when youre applying it that its going to make your lashes stronger and healthier. Will buy again!!!

This is the first product that has ever motivated me to write a review. I have tried most mascaras at every price point & picked this up only because I didn't think I had tried it before. It's the mascara I've been searching for: beautiful glossy black [makes my brown eyes more sparkly!], full but natural volume, absolutely no smudging or flaking, no irritation to my ultra-sensitive eyes [I wear contacts] and washes off without any residual raccoon eyes [I just use Dove sensitive soap to wash my face]. Highly recommend!!
