I love Neutrogena products so I was excited to see that they make mascara. I'm not that choosy about mascara but I was very disappointed in these. I bought the black and the brownest black. I didn't like the color of the brownish one, nor did I like the way either went on. They didn't make my lashes look much longer or fuller, and they tended to clump.

This is by far the best drugstore mascara available, and better than all but one of the high end mascaras I've ever tried (and I've tried them all) This goes on nicely without clumping and never gives spidery lashes. It is fairly light and natural looking with one coat, but if you add a few more you can still get the nighttime dramatic look, still looking feathery but thick without clumps. This is now my favorite though because it actually improved my eyelashes. I don't know if other mascaras were making them less healthy, but after using this awhile, my eyelashes are longer and thicker than before. I use it every day.

I bought this mascara because the package showed a big thick bristle brush, I can't stand the small bruses, or the plastic ones. This mascara is the best because it adds so much volume, does't make my lashes stick together, and it doesn't make your lashes look tacky when you put a lot on, has a very natural look. There are two things I can't stand about it though. You need to definately use an eyelash curler before you use it though, because it does nothing to curl lashes. Also, I always wash my face off every night, and no matter how much I rub my eyes with make up remover (I've used expensive brands for this!) I always wake up with smudges around my eyes. Overall, the pros definately outweigh the cons. Best mascara ever!

I have severely dry eyes and Neutrogena mascaras have typically been most tolerable for all-day wear. I prefer the Lash Tint though (sadly no longer available on drugstore.com). Healthy Volumne goes on well, pretty clump-free, and lasts well but it doesn't come off easily with Steri-llid (great eyelash cleanser for people with dry eyes) or my regular cleanser (Philosophy). I'll continue to use but won't buy again. Will search out Lash Tint instead.

I have tried alot of mascara's in my days,and this one works great!!!! I also have dark circles and no extra darkness under my eyes from the mascara. I wish Neutrogena would stop introducing new mascara's that are of less quality than this one.

This product is awful. Clumpy, sticky, too thick - right out of the package. I even washed the applicator off and tried it a second time and it still came out kind of dried out and glopy. Totally gross - I started to put it on my lashes, to see if maybe it smoothed out in application -- I was wrong. If I can figure out how to upload my own pic's of this product, I will - buyer be warned.

I've been searching for a replacement for the Maybelline Unstoppable mascara that I used to use, and haven't found the one yet. This stuff looks great when you put it on, but smudges like crazy. When I take it off with eye makeup remover before bed, I still wake up with smudges in the morning, because maybe it was hiding somewhere?

I bought this when on vacation in New York because I had forgotten my own and this was the first to come to hand in the corner drugstore. Now I wish I'd bought a few as it isn't available in Holland and I'll have to resort to e-mail ordering or my "old" product, which was an expensive one! This product is great; looks good and feels good. Applies and removes easily, alas, it can't be bought easily.
