I really don't understand the bad ratings for this mascara at all. I am always trying new mascara to find that one that does it all. I was pleasantly surprised that this one gave my lashes length and volume. It does flake a little bit towards the end of the day after wearing for hours, but I haven't found a mascara that hasn't done that. The brush seems bulky at first, but it's actually perfect for applying this mascara. I have dark lashes to begin with and they're not stubby, so maybe that's the difference. I'm happy with this mascara.

This clumps a lot and I've only had it for about 2 months. My lashes stick together like no tomorrow. I'll probably toss it and never buy neutrogena mascara again because of this experience.

It smudges! I have short lashes and all I ask is for in a mascara is that stays put. I get raccoon eyes with this product and as soon as I get in the shower (before soaping up), it runs! Will NOT buy again.

Stays on while swimming laps, but comes off easily in the shower while shampooing. I was put off at first by the large brush, but maneuvered it easily. The handle is easier to hold than some of the stumpy shapes the other brands are coming out with. Goes on with no clumps. Lashes stayed soft.

I love the mascara product, but the brush needs to be re-vamped..it is too big .

I have used Neutrogena products for nearly two years, especially this one. It was fine all this time, until the last three tubes that I bought. It is disgusting. It clumps EVERY time, and its very sticky. The sad part about it, is that this usually happens with mascara that is too old and needs to be thron away. Well, the mascara was like this when I took it out of the package. I am very dissatisfied with this product and would NOT recommend it.
