I ordered this hoping it would be a simple, daily cleanser, specifically for use in the shower. I love Neutrogena products, but this one missed the mark for me. First, it's quite drying. I have very dry skin naturally, so lots of cleansers end of feeling drying to me, but this one felt almost draining. My skin was tight and borderline irritated but how dry it was, but oddly enough I didn't feel like it cleaned my skin completely. It does not remove makeup well at all (non-waterproof mascara hadn't budged after two applications) and I wondered how much dirt and makeup was still left that I couldn't see.
Overall, I was unimpressed by this product, and I'd recommend the Visbily Bright cleanser from Neutrogena instead, a product I have repurchased more than once.

After battling with acne, I finlly went to the dermatologist. She recommended this product to me and I immediately got the product. It oly worsened my acne. Before this product my acne was only on my chin and forehead. After only a handful of uses my face completely broke out - I even had acne on my upper cheeks under my eyes.. Never again will I use this product.

I am 57 years old and I have used this facial soap since I was 17. I have always had people say how nice my skin is. I have both of my sons use this cleanser since they were teenagers and they have good skin and they are in their 30's now.

Does good job cleaning and is convenient too! Lathers quickly and rinses easily. Great to use at sink. I've tried every cleanser out there and this has worked the best. Face feels prepped for SPF and serums. Doesn't conflict with other products and no annoying fragrance! Whoop, whoop!

I have used Neutrogena products since college (and that's been a LONG time). The liquid facial formula is the best facial product out there. I used to really like the fragrance, but Neutrogena has stopped making the scented version. I will continue to buy this and other Neutrogena products as long as they're available.

used this a few times and ugh it dried out my face so bad. had to use tons of moisturizer afterwards. would not recommend this to those with sensitive skin.
