Has all the goodies a good after shave balm should have,witch hazel,allantoin,aloe.But what kills this product from being even better is the overpowering AWFUL SCENT.It smells so bad,I couldnt wash it off fast enough.What a shame.

This is a good product. My face is sensitive to electric razors. I can avoid barber's itch by shaving with a blade and applying After Shave Lotion/Gel. If I don't apply the lotion/gel then I break out on my neck. The Neutrogena goes on well and adheres well. I don't think it smells bad at all. It definitely is a men's fragrance, but it's much better than the small bottles of Gillette After Shave (blue bottle, white bottle). My first choice is Gillette Fusion Gel -- smell is fantastic. This is runner up.

Really difficult to find the razor defense lotion locally. Stocked up by buying six from drugstore.com. Should be good to go for quite a while.

I have purchased many different after shave lotions and balms for my husband over the years, including drug-store brands and major department store varieties that cost much more. This one is a favorite of his and a reasonable price too. He has very dry skin and uses this after he shaves (razor) every day.

After only one use - like may others here - I will not be using this again because the smell is way too strong, even after several hours. It actually stings my eyes!
