I have bought him multiple products trying to find one he liked as well as this one. I found this several years ago and then could never find it again. I had bought 3 when he liked it. For the last 3 months, I have been on the hunt for it locally. It is not to be found. Thank goodness for drugstore.com or my life would still be consumed with finding this product. He will not use the expensive products that I bought thinking they would be as satisfactory to him! They are thrown in a box in his linen closet. He says this product does exactly what he wants, lessens the oil and prevents breakouts, without being harsh and causing his sensitive skin to peel. This gentleness and the 1.5% salicylic acid are good for minimizing blackheads and pores. My only knock on this cleanser is the persistent need to put perceived masculine fragrances and menthol in men's products. It seems to work well at controlling break-outs on my oily face, but I don't really like the fact that it doesn't lather that well. The smell is neither pleasant nor offensive. I actually thought it smells like bread not sure why. And it didn't lather for me. Once I was able to waste a good bit of the bottle to get lather, it dried my skin out afterward. However it SMELLS so strongly of cheap cologne its awful. It smells like "Axe for Men" very surprising that Neutrogena would tart up a product like this. I have cologne; I don't need my FACE wash to be so strongly scented. Too stinky. He has noticed that his skin is clear and, although he has very sensitive skin, he is not bothered by the fragrance. The product does work and my husband will want me to get it again. I use this every other day and have found that it keeps my very oily skin under somewhat better control and is a great prep for shaving. It does a great job of refreshing my face and cleaning all the junk off my skin. I tend to have slightly oily skin and this product does a great job of removing the oil without drying my face out. Since I've been using it (nearly two years now) I've had zero problems with any type of acne and my complexion looks great. I highly recommend this as well as the other Neutrogena Men products. The menthol is so overwhelming, it actually caused my fiances face to burn upon application. Take out the fragrance and menthol "tingle", and the cleanser would be much better off.
