I use St. Ives facial cleanser and make-up remover which I can no longer get. So I spent more $ and decided to try this Neutrogena product since it too was listed as a cleanser and makeup remover. I applied this product the same way that I applied the St. Ives - directly on my eyes. Well this product burned my eyes immediately - I mean STINGING. My eye bothered me all day. I will continue my search for a replacement product for my St. Ives.

This cleanser works fine, but the heavy smell is just too much. When a product is marketed as "natural"/paraben free, etc., one would expect the smell to be fairly natural as well. This stuff smells just like hair dye. I definitely won't be buying again, I'm not sure I'll even be able to finish the bottle that I have. Yuck.

My face is very shiny, but not oily. Then I sweat a lot. The Deep Clean is for normal to oily skin and leaves my face feeling taut. This cleanser is just right and I can even not moisturize _immediately_. I don't know about makeup removal as I was not consistently using at the time.

The "natural" aspect of the product was what drew me in when I purchased it. I use this facial wash every time I shower, on my entire face, eye area, and neck. Because I do have combination skin and have had problems with acne cysts, it can be difficult to find something that will not make me break out or leave my skin so tight that it hurts. The Neutrogena Naturals is for me, the perfect combination of cleansing and not stripping my skin. I was amazed to see so many negative comments about this product, so much so that I had to write! I think that the fragrance is fresh and clean, it rinses very easily in the shower, and does a great job on my, sometimes, troublesome skin. I do follow it with a moisturizer by a different company, but have changed moisterizers while using this wash and it still works great for me. My skin feels very clean, and nice and soft after washing. As for all of the commentors who reported that the fragrance was way too heavy, I think that the original Neutrogena liquid has a much heavier, cloying scent. I have used at least 4-5 bottles of this cleanser, and plan to keep on using it. The only problem I have encountered is that every once in a while with a new bottle, or if I have turned the pump to close it for travel, is getting the pump to work. Other than that one quirk, I love this product!

I'm in my 30s and have prematurely dry skin (thanks to Chantix). Historically, my favorite cleansers have been from Estée Lauder, however this cleanser from Neutrogena is wonderful!! It does not dry out my skin, it removes all traces of makeup the first time, and personally, I love the exotic smell. I just bought my second bottle and for the price, I'll be sticking with this cleanser from here on out.

I gave this cleanser a try because it was free of Sodim Laurate and other Laurates which can clog pores. I had high hopes due to natural coconut derived ingredients. I am not too particular about fragrances and have combination skin that is not sensitive so I disregarded reviews complaing about scent and irritated face.

The smell is really unpleasant; a mix of medicine & green apple candy, I can barely stand it, but if it worked I would have stuck with it.

It left my face tight which most cleansers do, since the first day it made my face feel a bit hot and flushed after washing, I am not used to this it somewhat irritated my skin, but it appeared to dry up the few spots I had so I kept using it. Then by the end of the week I developed 3 large pimples where I normally don't ever get any. I stopped using and returned this item. Not good if you are prone to break outs, I would not reccomend for anyone with dry skin since it was harsh on my combo-oily skin

I have a little ocasional acne around my chin and sometimes jawline. But since trying this I got a massive bump on my cheeck where I never break out and 2 massive white ones that are not the type of breakouts I ussually get. I switched back to My other Nutrogena cleanser.

I was really excited to try this product based on its reviews but for a "natural" product the perfume is just too much. A nice Tea Tree scent would have been great.

I really like this- have been looking for paraben and phthlate-free products and most I've found cost a small fortune. I like the feel of the product, but agree with the other reviewer - it is heavily perfumed. And the presence of "fragrance" in the ingredient list concerns me...this ubiquitous term usually masks all kinds of horrors they aren't required to disclose. So what is the heavy smell masking I wonder? I like it, but I'm not 100% convinced this is as good as it's marketed to be.

I love this face wash!! It is very reasonably priced and you don't have to use much each time you wash your face so I think it will last a really long time. My face had started to break out when I was using a natural cleansing milk (I think because the weather is warmer so I was more active) so I switched to this and my face cleared right up. I was worried it would be really drying because I usually have slightly dry skin but it wasn't at all. I need to use a little more lotion than I did with the cleansing milk but if it keeps my skin this clear, I'll take it!

used all sorts of cleansers and this one takes the cake. it smells fabulous and i love the feel of it. i do not like neutrogena because they are a big wig corp that usually tests on animals, so that is the only downsdie of the product, but i will let this one slide because this product in particular is not tested on animals (or so the container says).
